Hi Brenda, I can see you are new to my channel, it's cartonnage and this is one of the most simple projects I show. We use the roller in all of our projects, so fun, so easier.....maybe you can try! Check the other videos I have, you may like it! Thanks!
Hi Judi, I believe there isn't any problem on using hot glue for a small piece like that. Give it a try and if you like the finishing, as you said, why not, right? I love testing and experimenting. Not sure if you know, but I'm a cartonnage teacher, so, I do lots of fabric boxes and other projects, you can check the other video here on my channel. For all those project I would not recommend hot glue, because you can't have a great finishing when you go for bigger projects, pieces with lots of pieces.... in all those cases I recommend PVA glue. It's fun!
The ornaments are gorgeous. I want to try a box or the one that goes on the desk.
So beautiful, thank you for sharing Claudia
These could be made as keepsake cards and hung on the tree for many years. I think I'll do this and add some embroidery to make them extra special.
I think this is a very neat idea, but I would use a make-up sponge instead of wasting a roller. Those are gorgeous.

Nice finished quality look!
These are lovely. What type of glue are you using for this craft please?
Enjoyed your video very much. Your techniques were great and I learned much.
Do you wash your roller and brush after each use? Is it regular Elmer's glue? Does the brush and roller stay stiff?
love your video. Very helpful. Thank you.😍

I'm glad you liked Deronda! Thanks! Have fun!
Why not use hot glue gun instead of regular glue and masking tape? I would use the hot glue, would get things done faster and make less of a mess.

Hot glue is thicker and leaves lumps where you apply it. White glue lets it lay flat and you can hardly see the joint between front and back.
Ethan I love
nice
