I love this one! We put our tree up in June 2020 to cheer ourselves up, and have never taken it down! I’ve been changing out the ornaments for different seasons and holidays, and these would be a great addition!

Made my first one. Follow the instructions and they go together quickly.
I’m having trouble with the center, mine came out chunky and not very good looking.
Thoughts or ideas on how to get the centers right.

where did you get your gloves
I cannot find the strofoam disc you are using here.
Can you snip the excess of the fabric instead of folding under? ❤️ this!! Thank you for sharing!!!
If you snip the extra fabric, you may need a larger embellishment to hide the raw edges. If you use a smaller embellishment, I would recommend folding it under. It does give the center a cool look too!

Could you possibly use a round ball? Maybe the fabric would have to be longer?
We haven't tried this fold on a round ball, but I would suggest working with a small ball if this is something you are going to try.

I love these. How do you make them without making them so thick in the middle, I'm pinning wrong!! I can't seem to see what I'm doing wrong!!
These ornaments do have a lot of bulk in the middle, which is why we recommend a larger embellishment in the center. It will hide all of those pins and bulk.

Thank you for a brilliant tutorial I'm just about to start but my printer isn't printing out cheat sheet quite to size I wondered what the measurements are on the piece of paper to go round please?
i have bought the Praire point pinwheel Ornament and I didnt realise that the foam disc used in the video is not found in Australia. I tried to buy from your site but you do not post to Australia. My question is can I use another foam shape to make this ornament? otherwise I have bought the pattern and can't use it . thank you will wait for your reply kathleen
Hi Kath... I am sorry about that. We want to ship to Australia, and always have up until a few months ago. Our postal service (USPS) is not shipping there right now, and other shipping services are charging astronomical amounts. We hope this will change soon. In the meantime, I will refund your purchase of the pattern. As far as another foam shape, anything disc-shaped (even if it's flatter or more round) would work for this. It's a pretty forgiving pattern, since the pieces are large, and a lot of it isn't laying flat on the foam. I am not sure what other options you have there, but I hope you can find something relatively similar in your local craft or hobby stores. I hope this helps a little.

Why won't the soft foam shape show up on the link you have? It only dhows a small ball and some half ball shapes😕

the measuring tape in the kit does not go all the way around the dome like yours does!
Hi Marilyn.. which kit are you referring to? I've never had a full kit available for this particular ornament, though I did have packs with the fabric only (no measuring strip). Was it a different ornament?

Love this, but wish you wouldn't have fast forwarded the folding instructions after you did just two. I pulled mine apart a few times because I couldn't get the hang of how it was supposed to go. I will keep on stopping video to get a visual. Also the measuring tape on the printable sheet is short on the oval strofoam I purchased from you to make this ornament. I'm so sorry you had some trouble with the marking guide! It sounds like your printer may have adjusted the size of the document. You want to be sure that it is printing at 100%. There is a sample square that should measure 1" after the page is printed.
