Oh dear, a choice between watching the Northern Mudlarks or Pre-game Super Bowl festivities?! No contest…The NorthernMudlarks! Super Bowl and Taylor can wait.
Hands down, no contest! Northern Mudlarks every time over that lot of overpaid, entitled so-and-sos. I've never had much interest in "professional" football games, but I used to half-heartedly watch the so-called "Super Bowl" and now have zero interest in watching it. Overpriced hype is all it's about these days.
Wow!! What an amazing finds! The head pipe is my favourite also. I think Nicola White is quite envious right now.😅 Every week, I think that your haul of finds couldn't be any better, but you still find even more spectacular items. 😍 Thank you for taking us with you on your mudlarks. It's highly appreciated!❤ I hope you have a fantastic week, filled with sunshine and amazing finds. Saying hi from the Netherlands. 🤗🇳🇱
I'm surprised Alex left the shard of pottery that had the flowers and a bird on it, it was quite different and striking. May the shore will save it for you! Thank you as always for sharing your adventures with us. Be well. 💕💕
Well pen knife is actually the traditional name for those kind of knives. Mainly because they were meant to fit in your pen pocket. But us Americans eventually just started calling them pocket knives or Swiss Army knives and multi-tools. But they all are traditionally Pen Knives. 14:50
No We most certainly have not called them " Swiss Army " knives or multi-tool" Those are Three different knives. A PEN knife is what WE Americans call them. Good Lord.
Hi Ladies, fun stuff, tiny treasures everywhere!! That pipe bowl is fantastic, nice going!! We call pen knives, Jack knives, or pocket knives. In old, old times, they were Pen knives, were used to cut larger feathers for ink pens or quills. Just love fun facts, hope I could ad to the info.
This is one of my favorite mudlarks in a very long time! The pipe is a hoot. The beads and hat pins are exceptional. And I particularly love the little blue and white cat. Hyacinths and lily of the valley are my favorite smelling flowers. Thank you ladies for a wonderful treat!❤Tennessee Nana
Thank you for straightening out the knuckle bone question I had. The game of jacks I know very well. Just found your channel today, May 30, 2024. What a joy when I stayed for the end reveal. Growing up in the 50's in the US we had lots of opportunities to explore as you do. I rather loved the stones. Have fun ladies!
The white porcelain flower fragment is from an ‘immortelle’ - a memorial arrangement of procelain flowers and things like a pair of clasped hands. Very Victorian!
That is the most detailed great pipe out of all the mudlarks finds, must show Nicole, 27:12, when you picked up dolls body, looked like chain to left, Alex I thought I saw things you walked past, must go back
32:59 the little white thing looks like what we call a push pin to hold paper to cork boards. 😊. You have great finds. And very calming and peaceful videos.
Great mudlark! I grew up hearing the term pin knife and pocket knife. I think the term pocket knife is more common now. I love the little doll that hides among the found treasures.
The little whire rectangle tiny dish with a 'S' inside, I think it's a small dish that held salt. For those that liked to eat green onions as a relish with dinner. They would dip them in the salt before taking a bite. It would tasre delicious biting the onion, then a bite of a steak or chicken or a salad, to ad flavor to the dinner. Not everyone liked onion so to each as own. A salt dish to dip then eat, green onions, celery, green chilies, hard boiled eggs, etc...
Hello. Today is March 1, 2024. I live in Panama City, Florida, USA. I really enjoy watching you guy's. I just found you on youtube the other day and I have been watching you every since.
HI GAIL AND ALEX!! GOOD DAY!! HOPE ALL IS GREAT WITH YOU ALL. I LOVE THE SNOW FLOWER VASE YOU MADE FROM THAT SPACKLE GLASS. LOOKS GREAT. LOVE THE FACE PIPE, SO ODD TO FIND IT. ALL YOUR FINDS ARE GREAT, I'M STILL AMAZED AT THE BRASS AND COPPER YOU FIND THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING UNTILL WASHED. LOVE THE BOTTLES, ESPECIALLY THE FROSTED ONE YOU PICKED UP. WELL THANKS FOR SHARING AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY ❤️ 🙏
I can't express how much I love watching your videos and how much I enjoy both of you. I get so excited when you find something special. I also love when you research the item and tell us all about it. I also watch the lost tower diaries and really enjoy them. ❤❤
O that was so funny what you done with the funny face pipe , fantastic I totally love the history insert that you do from any and all your investigations great finds I absolutely love every mudlark you go on my day wouldn't be the same without watching 3 to 5 of your videos brilliant and thankyou lady thankyou ever so much fantabulus ❤❤
I would love to see you hang your beed finds in a strand a month from the top of window. Then see what they begin to look like. I love beads in windows. Your beed find already looks fabulous. 😊
An amazing lark with great finds! I love the Snow Drop vase, the pipe, beads, well…everything! The foreshore is a gift that keeps giving! Sending love your way❤
That girls head, could she e French or dutch 🤷♀️🤷♀️i know I’ve seen that type of hat🤔. Awesome head pipe of walter,, can honestly never seen one before. The shaker bottle or Walter for the window? Many great finds all round. Love the Hyacinths they smell amazing. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️
Hi Northern Mudlarks, a respectful EVP spirit audio analysis at 0.25x video speed, my language: 21:42 'Du har fundet en Odin-dukke' ('You've found an Odin figurine'), 21:45 'Det er jo wonderful' ('Well, that's wonderful'), 21:48 'Det er Odin' ('It is Odin'). Thank you The Völve, Asatru shaman of Denmark and the Lands of the North
I wish you both would show us how you play knuckle bones😊 oh your pipe movie star find out color of eyes and put chips in eye indents. such a cool pipe!
When you found the speckled vase... you set it on a large flat rock. I noticed when you approached the rock, I thought I saw what looked like a nice heart rock! It was perfect! I kept watching ... when you piled everything on the rock, I saw it again! It was on the top & left side. The heart was upside down off the edge of the big rock. It was perfect. I just wanted you to see it!
Loves how your Mother has taken you on "treasure hunts", probably since you were quite small, and I love imagining you, Alex, as a young Mum, taking your child to the same spots to go on treasure hunts! Such lovely memories being made together. ☺️💭✨💝
I like looking for the little doll I saw her upside down in the orange glass Very fun to look 👀 for her She sure gets around Is she one of the borrowers?
The green half dome lens, some of those. Were on brass carriage lights, that held a candle inside, today March 4th 2024, watching you video from Iowa In North America, Thank you for tromping around and discovering Archeology, that face pipe was the coolest thing you found
I’ve never seen your channel before but it’s definitely interesting. Where is this located, I can’t imagine one location has all of those items all the time?
What a colourful array of realy wonderful finds Gail and Alex. I adored the splatter glass vase, you made from the broken vase. I think it looked so pretty with the pure beautiful snowdops, sat in there. The beads had some very unusual ones amongst them. They looked so colourful all stung together. I also love the hat pin beads. Do you ever think to add silver long pins to those. I bought some a while back. You could remove the pin heads off of those and add them to you hat pin pretties and display them in a pin cusion maybe. Even the brass objects were lovely. The Fleur De Le struck me as the decorative finials you find on brass fire place sets. Where the brush, pan and poker are placed. Either on each item, or as the top piece of the stand itself? 🤷🏼♂️ That porcelain ladies head, with the strage hat was an exaple of a flat straw hat that was tied with a ribon at the neck. I think shepardesses were often portrayed wearing them. Like most things, the rich pinched the idea and ran with it. Adding hat pins and silk ribons. For the life of me, i cant think off hand what they were called. You can bet I'll be looking that one up, after I've posted this. 😂 As for the pipe head. Wow, that was a very unusual find indeed. Well done with that one Gail. Slightly freakish looking with all those teeth and staring eyes. Especially when it was dirty, but when all cleaned and that pale biscuits colour...a little more friendly. I agree you definitely found the correct actor Gail. Isn't the internet amazing. So much information to be found. Thanks for a great lark ladies. Very enjoyable. Xxx
You found some pretty beads this time, and of course more of marbles.I likes the pretty bit of vase that looked nice with the snowdrops in.But my favourite find this time had to be the happy man pipe followed by the cute Christmas tree,be gear in one of the doll houses..Thanks for taking us along ..Love n Light 🥰
That pipe bowl with the grinning face looks like something you would see in one of Terry Gilliam's 2-D cutout skits especially as he would have it entering from the left with the right side of the face showing just like it showed in this Mudlarks video. Thanks for the memory! Lee
I was racking my brain for the name, but StarryDiad beat me to it! 👏🏻🙋♀️ Imortelle being the name of the porcelain flower fragment…I’ve seen posies of flowers with a pair of Doves , under a glass dome, but soooo fragile that not many survive the lawnmowers going round graves and throwing up stones, which is sad as they were/are so beautiful. I’m not being morbid, but that soil layer where it came from doesnt back onto a churchyard does it!?! Dread to think what you may find next. If so,!!! 😨😨😨 Love those slim little bottles you found, and not a chip on them! Scary pipe head, but a great find! Well done both of you! Love watching mother and daughter having quality time together like this…..how memories are made! 🙋♀️💕👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘😘
What a lively colored treasure haul! I love the hat pin remnants I can envision the hats! When you talk about the elusive Dice you mentioned, are they for the knuckle bone game? I also love your Snowdrop Vase🧡!
I’ve heard pen knife AND pocket knife where I live. Also, you’re right, nothing is really on the internet about that pipe! You’ll have to update us if you find anything else out. It’s very peculiar and interesting! x
Oh dear, a choice between watching the Northern Mudlarks or Pre-game Super Bowl festivities?! No contest…The NorthernMudlarks! Super Bowl and Taylor can wait.
No contest indeed. Northern Mudlarks any day!
For sure!
Absolutely no contest for me. I hate football.
Absolutely!!!

OMG! I laughed out loud when Gail found that face pipe! So unexpected and funny!
So many great finds, ladies, and I just love dolly in the roundups😊
I really enjoy the cheeky little doll photo bombing your finds!!
My first thoughts of the head pipe were that it looks like a talk show host. By far my favourite pipe I’ve seen yet.!
Such cool treasure you find💙
Nicola White Will be very proud and a little envious

I love the beads & face pipe ❤😊
The clay pipe with face is awesome ❣️
Thanks for taking me on your journey to find treasures.
Well pen knife is actually the traditional name for those kind of knives. Mainly because they were meant to fit in your pen pocket. But us Americans eventually just started calling them pocket knives or Swiss Army knives and multi-tools. But they all are traditionally Pen Knives. 14:50
Pocket knife for sure. They have blades only. Multi tools have additional things such as cork screws, scissors ans awls.
Or jack knives
No We most certainly have not called them " Swiss Army " knives or multi-tool"
Those are Three different knives.
A PEN knife is what WE Americans call them. Good Lord.

That pipe is fantastic! So much fun to come along with you girls! Thank you!
How cool that pipe guy could be identified! …However, he is creepier looking than his pipe version!
The finial looks like the end of a flag pole. Great finds Ladies, you always impress me with your keen eyes! Thanks so much!
At 19:51 when you pick up that venetian glass bead, to the left of where you pick that up is a great GREEN ROCK, with a half moon pattern in it
32:59 the little white thing looks like what we call a push pin to hold paper to cork boards. 😊. You have great finds. And very calming and peaceful videos.
shaker bottle for glitter or something of that nature for the pepper shaker
OH MY GOODNESS‼️
- A Grinning Cat❗️🫶
LOVE IT!! I’m a sucker for animals.
Really cool face pipe !❤❤

Great mudlark! I grew up hearing the term pin knife and pocket knife. I think the term pocket knife is more common now. I love the little doll that hides among the found treasures.
Love your snow drops in the vase!
Beautiful finds!!
You can see Forde's films online - both as an actor and director. He was very talented.
The pudding doll peeping out in all the photos was cracking me up!! 😅
I’m with Gail. I love little bottles🥰

Maybe the finial was off the top of a lamp shade? Or the end of a cafe curtain rod?
😊
My guess is the end of a flagpole.

This was fun!
Thanks Have a happy Valentine’s Day 😎✌🏼🤟🏼🖖🏼
The scent of hyacinth is my very favorite of all flowers.
🎉the old glass..can use as a candle holder..
With your talent Alex you would be able to piece the vase back together! Hope you at least try!

I love the Christmas tree! And the pipe is so wonderfully weird!
Omg that clay pipe with the face is my favorite thing that you found! Very cool
#Northern Mudlarks
I think the mini bottle at the beginning of your video, contained Tanqueray Gin at some time. 🍸
What a lively colored treasure haul! I love the hat pin remnants I can envision the hats! When you talk about the elusive Dice you mentioned, are they for the knuckle bone game? I also love your Snowdrop Vase🧡!
Gail I think the ghost of broken hat pins was chucking stuff at you today!
