I would recommend it. My last S3 Mini repair didn't go well. After the first drop on the floor on the same day the screen got a izzy bizzy tiny scratch on the upper edge. But the real dilemma was that the screen was black from that moment on. I also need need one -.-'
I'll tell you what. These goddamn mass produced shite products are designed such way that you have to disassemble everything to get to the part that is most prone to damage. In the meantime you take out the motherboard along with bunch of connectors which are much more delicate and expensive than the lcd screen. This is all by design..

It's almost impossible to replace the front glass only. You need to buy touch and digitizer assembly.
