    One question: Don‘t I need to fit a PTFE tube or something similar into this hexagonal duct between the Extruder and the hot end? Perhaps I missed this part in this otherwise perfect video 🙃

    • @marcosmoura911
      @marcosmoura911 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks like it needs a tube inside. Probably would be better just a 2mm hole from top to bottom.

    I cant stop to notice, shouldn't the first insert be on the motor backplate so when you use a screw it will hold it in place also. Maybe also add an insert to the other back plate hole instead of screwing direct in the plastic or?

      @@rarih100 the first "M3 insert" you install shouldn't it be on the motor plate instead?? And the other motor plate hole is also missing an M3 insert or is it supposed to screw it on plastic?

      @@marcosmoura911 after mounting the head on the carriage with for ex dragon, comes to extruder should , and before screw it on the head (which mounted already on the carriage) add the main plastic big bondtech shaft with back bearing on the back plate and the motor, then put 2 m3x8 screw in the middle main extruder body and sandwich it with backblate and so on, 2nd there is no place where you have to screw direct on the plastic part on the head btw

      @@rarih100 you should do a comparison as These extruders both use the same bmg gear. I think the problems people are having is with the filament path not being straight. If it is not straight issues will happen! Nevertheless nice work!
