Here is a related question: When removing the engine, can you unbolt the compressor without opening the refrigerant lines? Then remove the engine without removing the condenser? In other words, can you remove the engine without opening the A/C refrigerant lines?
Did u need to pull the Freon from the lines to it? I don’t need to replace mine but I gotta unbolt it to drop it an inch to get to a leaking coolant fitting right between the coompressor and the block itself

I know this is old but I’m doing this today and wanted to know how it went? It’s annoying where that coolant connect on the block is located.
