Actually, Phantom Menace could have been a great movie, if they don't make it chlidish. Under childish I mean Jar-Jar, and Anakin saying "yippie" during the podracing. Every other thing could've work, but they fucked it up with politics Attack of the Clones was slightly better, but the "romantic" storyline was just bad, and dialogues sucked. Revenge of the Sith was fucking awesome, the one that is worth mentioning along the original trilogy. The duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan was probably the best one in the entire saga.

Episodes 1-3 are of much higher quality films than episodes 4-6. 1-3 just look far more visually stunning by doing away with practical effects and instead they masterfully incorporated CGI on every frame of the movie. Not to mention the stories are incredibly compelling with engaging and story rich dialogue brought to life by the incredibly talented cast who absolutely nailed the roles they were casted for. From fresh characters like Binks, to the familiar faces who have made their return like Yoda.(who has returned more powerful and interesting as a character than ever before.) Episodes 1-3 have set the standard on how to properly begin telling a beautiful story. Whereas 4-6 are just cheesy, stereotypical hero vs villain cliche repeats of one another whose best character is covered in hair and makes simple noises. The story might as well be nonexistent. As the hero is a typical farm boy who gets wound up in some trouble. The only saving grace for the story was the “reveal” that Darth Vader is Luke’s father. However, I, and millions of other intelligent individuals struggle to understand why this “reveal” was ever a big deal, seeings as how 1-3 were entirely based around him. The original trilogy suffers from poor visual effects, poor dialogue exchange, poor representation, poor characters, and an all round poor story. Episode 7 was revolutionary in terms of cinema. It was a landmark of perfection that the masses will gaze upon for at least another century to come. The amazing visuals. The female protagonist, with her sexually ambiguous black male sidekick. The original and fresh story that is unlike and unrivaled by no other in the franchise. They brought back old characters and made them better than ever. Episode 7 was truly a unique masterpiece, the likes of which we will never see again.
3 remains my favorite. Hoping for another love story and expansion of the family. I hate how they forgot Anakin & Padme in the recent movies, they started it all.
Looking at this reminds me of how much of these movies is actually really bad, like the prequels get hate but tbh some of the original stuff is really cringey just the same.
My opinion: Ep 1 is ok and I feel is overhated but still inferior to the originals, Ep 2 is not good at all (except the Battle of Geonosis) and is my least favorite, Ep 3 in my opinion is a very good movie and i love it (but still inferior to the original trilogy), Ep 4 is spectacular and it changed filmmaking, Ep 5 was EVEN BETTER and had the best twist and cliff hanger ever, Ep 6 is my favorite of the original trilogy because i feel the conclusion was epic and satisfying, and Ep 7 is not only my favorite Star Wars movie, but my favorite movie of all time. Its the only movie that ive ever went to see at the theater TWICE. So to recap, I is mediocre, II is thumbs down, III is great, IV is awesome, V is spectacular, VI is awesome, and VII is an outer body experience. I cannot wait for VIII and IX

A New Hope was very good, especially for the time it was made, I just felt like some parts of the movie were a bit dull. Empire Strikes Back is awesome because the actors acted well and there was the truly memorable scenes with Yoda and the Darth Vader v. Luke lightsaber fight. Return of the Jedi was an awesome movie, I just felt like the whole idea of Leia being a slave to Jabba was really pointless, but the rest of it was very good, especially the Luke v. Vader fight (I didn't even have a problem with the ewoks). The Force Awakens was fantastic, I just didn't like how perfect they made Rey be, and there just wasn't a good backstory to back it up, I didn't even care that it had a ton of similarities to A New Hope.

One of these was a Smash Hit, another one broke the Internet in like, 5 seconds, a different one was Mediocre, then they made one that was Redemption, another one went beyond expectations, then one was made that was a emotional finale, and Episode One fucking sucked.

Phantom Menace has a shit performance from Natalie Portman and Jake Floyd. The new Yoda puppet looked terrible, Jar Jar has more than an hour of screen time, Darth Maul, a perfect opportunity for the entire Prequel Trilogy, Is Boba Fetted, Racist Stereotypes from the 50's are used, and The best actor in the movie, Liam Neeson, does not even make it to the ending, and would have been great in Attack.

One of these was a Smash Hit, another one broke the Internet in like, 5 seconds, a different one was Mediocre, then they made one that was Redemption, another one went beyond expectations, then one was made that was a emotional finale, and Episode One fucking sucked.

Phantom Menace has a shit performance from Natalie Portman and Jake Floyd. The new Yoda puppet looked terrible, Jar Jar has more than an hour of screen time, Darth Maul, a perfect opportunity for the entire Prequel Trilogy, Is Boba Fetted, Racist Stereotypes from the 50's are used, and The best actor in the movie, Liam Neeson, does not even make it to the ending, and would have been great in Attack.

I can sense a great excitement from Episode III, to the raw original trilogy, all the way to The Force Awakens. Episode II, I felt some "meh not too bad" feeling. Episode I, the exciting feeling felt pretty dang rancid.... THANKS JAR JAR!
