You guys have the best most diversified videos on sewing machines than any other sewing company that I have found. I will be looking into your company as a new customer. Thank you so much for doing a great job on your videos.
You guys are so awesome! I learn so much from your videos and if I ever do have a question, I know I'm going to get an answer, maybe even by video. You have created your own niche market for home sewists who want to move up to an industrial machine. You make it so easy to assemble and set up! Best sewing machine purchase in my life. 👍
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The movers literally dropped my machine a COUPLE times when they moved me back in December (I can tell just by looking at it) and I’ve been in a funk for 6 months. I had to replace a few parts, but this lifter issue was the last thing to figure out. Juki guy said he charges $65 just to ring my doorbell…. Once again, Bertha (DDL 8700) is sewing beautifully. Your videos are so helpful…. Again, thanks!
Do you check comments on older videos? I hope so. I am new to industrial sewing machines and it took me months to get it to sew anything. Anyways, it is not sewing again and I have narrowed it down to that little hook that is beside the tension knob on the front. The one that is moving up and down when you lift the presser foot in this video. While the sewing machine was acting right, that piece moved up and down. It is no longer moving up and down. I was sewing, then I had to thread a bobbin and it stopped working. Do you have any recommendations?
I have the same problem. I removed all the screws from the front plate but I'm unable to get it off-any suggestions? Your videos have helped tremendously !
I have this exact problem on my machine but I can't get the face plate off in order to fix it. I have removed 3 screws and I'm pretty sure thats all of them but it feels like its glued on. Any advice on what I can do?
Hopefully it’s fixed by now! My machine had the same problem today. I removed the screws and the end cap wouldn’t come off. I got a small chisel out to pry it off. The gasket had sealed it on. Went back on just fine.
I'm having issues with my presser foot...I've used the top and made it all the way down and i still have like a quarter inch clearance from my foot too feed dogs..i have a juki ddl-555
Thanks Steve, this video just helped me fix mine . I am always calling and paying for it to be fixed, but I wonder what makes this problem frequent for me.
Can someone tell me how to get the side of the machine off as in the video? I have undone 3 screws, one at top and two at the bottom (one near front and one near back of machine). I have tried putting a knife in the join but I can’t get the side of it off? I was adjusting the foot pressure screw on the top of machine, and it came all the way off, letting the spring inside fall somewhere - need to get into the machine to retrieve it.
my knee lift is not picking up my pressure foot. It just goes all the way backward then clicks and stays stuck in a horizontal position. I thought I needed to tighten it but that doesn't help
