I remember this video winning Best Video at MTV Music Awards. Everyone talked about it in school the next day about how bad ass it was hahahaha. Those were the days.
The 80's were a great time man. In my opinion the best decade when it came to music, movies, and television. Your statement just shows that GREAT music will always be great, no matter how old you are
I remember this song from FM radio before MTV was a thing so I didn't know what they looked like and when I first saw them I thought, well, the singer is okay.....but when I saw the video for me and my wine, at the end Joe Elliot says Thank You and I said, no sir, thank YOU!!!❤ Been hot for him ever since.... (We're the same age)
when i was a heavy metal thrasher growin up me and my friends used to play a game and when the songs came on we would have to guess one arm or two and you know what HE still rocked the hell out regardless!!!!
rode the storm back in the day and still riding it today cause I'm not fooling. still driving the 1982 trans am with screaming chicken on hood. do burnouts everyday...
So true, I just wish more people respected the best of the best though. I didn't really know about Def Leppard until watching CMT Crossroads with them and Taylor Swift, but instantly fell in love with their music, so now they're my favorite hard rock/rock/pop rock band and she's my favorite pop rock/country pop artist.
Rip Steaming Steve Clark, you will never be forgotten!!! The only one in the band that ever cared about you is Savage. Phil and Joe could care less😩😢💔🎸
I'll have to check them out. Thank you. I guess I should've said "Mainstream" music, because I'm sure there's some great groups out there I just haven't heard of.
Every time I hear this song I think of when I was on a farm in Ohio years ago. The owner went nuts and turned over a dozen lions and tigers loose. I was on the farm and this song was playing in the van, cranked up. Does anyone remember when that happened? I remember finding jars of animal organs in the barns and thinking what a mess man
This is Diana, Back in 83 I F#*ked the shit out of my boyfriend John Mc to these songs!!! That takes me back! GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR!!!!! Diana from Greencastle In.
I hate that Def Leppard was labeled as one of the 80's hair bands! They were so much better than that and had been around way before that but Hysteria linked them to the hair bands. Hysteria was above and beyond what any of the other bands put out but sadly I think Hysteria was their crowning glory because I did not care for the albums they put out after.....oh well, still one of my all time favorite bands!
@Bone Jenga So did AC/DC (Australian) and lots of America bands and some Continental. Other races have copied our Rock but not significantly. I think the time has come to call things out for what they really are. Race is a real thing and there is nothing wrong with it. It's the Egalitarians who have it wrong. You wouldn't find fault with calling out Blues as Negro. Right?
NOTHING BETTER THAN "DEF LEP"!!!!!!
Amen!!!!! But I miss Steve Clark so.much
@Roy You got that right!! They were so young but, Gosh, they have always sounded Great!! Love Def Leppard ♥️
Damn straight the whole album is a masterpiece
Dreamers Rock you said that so well!!!!!!
British Metal in the 80's to America was explosive...
I fucking LOVE the 80's! Never be music like this again, unfortunately.
Def Leppard fucking RULES!
I wish I'd been around in the 80's.. but I was born in 95, but I know damn good music when I hear it, and this is amazing.
I'm sticking with Def Leppard. They cheer me up when I'm sad or having a bad day! :)
Same here!
I remember this video winning Best Video at MTV Music Awards. Everyone talked about it in school the next day about how bad ass it was hahahaha. Those were the days.
