My Dad passed away aged 70, this was the song he chose to be played at his funeral. Made us all smile ❤️
What a lovely community, my Dad passed 5 years ago tomorrow and I still get emails notifying me of your comments, it makes me smile every time. I can imagine him looking down and loving the comments (and the video!) ❤
    Thank you all xxxx

My parents met at a club in the 80s. My mom said my dad came up to ask her to dance, but she didn’t feel like it. Then her fave song came on. One of their first dates was a Guns N Roses concert in Jacksonville FL and they had so much fun my mom kinda passed out in a mosh pit area near the stage. My dad carried her out. They’ve been having fun since then - 30 years later ❤️

I’ll be fifty years old in July and this takes me back to the summer of 88’, 17 years old, camped out and racing MX at Broome Tioga. My friends and I are from Western NY and we’d never heard Guns n Roses before that weekend. We camped next to a couple of guys from Boston who happened to have the Appetite For Destruction cassette. We traded them a quarter oz of great weed for it and proceeded to blast GnR all weekend when we weren’t riding. It’s hard to believe that so 32 years have passed since I first heard GnR. 🤙

I was at a track and field day in my elementary school in the 1st grade, I thought it was a good song to jam to at the time and didn't understand how good the 80s really were. Of course I shouldn't be talking but if I could visit the 80s, I totally would. I know there would be no Internet, phones, etc. I could survive without that, I would just be in the moment of being in the 80s. I wish I could've been around then, sadly I wasn't.
