Great vid, got my sub. It's all about the potential of New World for me, or I would have probably not put so many hours into it. The groundwork is all there and phenomenal, the zones are stunning, and combat is fun and not too complex, which I enjoy. I don't like having 30 button rotations. Once they add the things it's missing, like transmog, mounts, ships, guild halls, etc. the sky is the limit for the game. I just hope they can get it all out in a reasonable time frame to reward those of us for sticking around and believing in the game.
the game is still very meh. brimstone sands is boring nd over tuned heartrune gems are forgettable payed season pass you can say is semi pay to win since you are getting legendary items and for me some of them were upgrades. New world is like Dying light 2. a big mess thats never getting fixed
@@PrettyGuardian see thats where you're wrong, cause i do like the game, the game itself just had many flaws that lot of people would rather over look and pretend arent there. the whole copium phase
@@vobic13 I'll take your word for it because I obviously can't know what's in your heart. Your feedback about the game just doesn't read as being in alignment with that. For example you say that Brimstone Sands is boring, but you don't say why (like was the pacing slower? Did the zone lack content?) so it leaves a lot of space where it seems like you just didn't like it. Which is fair, I don't like lots of things and struggle to articulate it sometimes like in my review of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Then the whole "New World is a big mess thats never getting fixed" doesn't feel accurate either when they are constantly updating the game, so if they are always fixing things but it's never fixed FOR YOU then it makes me think there is something intrinsic to the game itself that is lacking that can't be updated in a few patches. The game absolutely has flaws, and while I am happy to talk about them I do ultimately overlook some of them. If I discarded every piece of media just because it's flawed I would have literally nothing. Even Lord of the Rings had flaws and that work was seminal to modern fantasy.
@Catre Since launch they added a speed buff for when you are on pathways and more fast travel shrines. I like to hit the gathering nodes as I explore. It is still a lot of running around though so I totally understand that it isn't for everyone!

They update the game regularly, it sounds like you just don't like it. That's ok. Not every game is for every person.

the lore was trash and literally not deep XD, it was just eye candy to sell to people desperate for a new game in the genre.
