The helmet hitting for 5% HP is a copy-paste of Chitter's Fang. I use that one - the damage on barb tank averages on a level of a damaging encounter power, which is actually a good deal. Not suited for dps paths though. (does not benefit from Power, CA or Crit)
On a fighter tank I was getting 10% of my damage from chitter's fangs so the new head piece is pretty good. Sadly, there's no room for it because of manticore helmets and pretty good rings that we got lately. Despite people initially frowning at Eilistrae's rings, several of them turned out BiS and most endgame toons wear 2x for the forte bonus.

I am watching this video to familiarize myself with the area. I currently have my weekly farmed for two characters. I am planning to replace that 1,600 helm that gives +7.5 percent accuracy with the 2,000 item level +7.5 percent accuracy. There are also various other items which are identical to some of my dragon gear pieces only a total upgrade. The best things recently was the 10 year anniversary event which gave me a total of 4 Cole Motes + a ton of food I am selling for Astral Diamonds. The Squash Soup seems to easily be the most valuable food. I have also started using the character bound food since it is a slight upgrade from the Watermelon Sorbet I was using. That 4 slot legendary I farmed on five of my characters.
The accuracy gauntlets could provide a good High IL alternative for barbarians, to cap that accuracy...I'm just exchanging the power ones, and put dominant force on mount equip, better have power capped constantly. 👉
Stats when your action points are below xx% is actually not that bad for distruptive shot hrs , I use the power one from dragon hunts when i dont use raptor
The healer stuff head and chest piece are the only good ones I saw. But at least the gear is decent and if new players farm it, it'll help them get dragon hunt gear or whatever else they need.
just incremental upgrades at high cost for me not worth the 500-1000IL increase however may have to buy them on later mods to meet IL rqeuirements since im currently using the lower IL versions also like the new transmute look
It's a secret to everybody why devs are waisting their time for creating a lot of gear with usless bonuses. Now the have made gear that require class. The idea of dragon hunt gear was very nice, many bonuses and every single class found something fit for their need. Now they doing this. I dont understand why. Cmon devs, you are wasting your own time. Again gear that no one will use it.

For those who start the campaign within two weeks of the new mod? 55k players might not be so eager to obtain mediocre but expensive and grind-requiring gear. It is definitely better than the Dragonflight fiasco, but even if we skip the bugs, it still might have a rather limited utility in only a few weeks after the launch.
And this is exactly why people will be jumping from NerfWinter to other games this Summer...uninspired new gear that really isn't worth chasing. Already disappointed & the new mod hasn't even dropped yet. 😢🤔
Speaking from a Whisperknife player, the head piece is a joke, my stamina is 99% of the time going to be under 75% lol. Cryptic must know this and this is a troll?. Unless they say "hmm you know the assassin is really spongy and so really needs to keep moving, and Whisperknife even more so, leys give them a head piece that forced them to stand still... They'll be alright...". So basically just learn to play a tank lol. God I hope someone at Cryptic realizes that is not good for rogues and adjusts it. The chest piece is good though, +5 crit strike in dungeons and +10 in trails!. The boots are okay too. Giving you a buff regardless of where you are. Gloves are okay. This mod plus being on top of the April event are looking pretty good, just sort that assassin hat out lol
if you have to dodge that much, that's usually skill issue. but yes regardless i won't be using the 7.5% acc helm when there's the exalted mtos helm for 3% ap per kill for aoe, and serene hood or damage helms for st. and the chest piece is not good, it's not 10% crit in trials. not sure where you got that idea. you're not in a party of 10, it's two parties of 5. 10% compared to 15% from sharp jacket or whatever else isn't that good. arms are very nice, outside of raptor groups. i use mighty /tactful arms in raptor anyway. boots are good, but not needed either. i won't be using those at all myself. pretty much the only good pieces of gear are helm and arms, one only if you don't have exalted helm and the other only if you're not in raptor group.

@@jingtroc23 tbf most people in the game 80k+ have skill issue, so damage board doesn't really matter xD but yeah that's fine. the helm is mostly just a choice for aoe, and in aoe you don't really need to dodge all the time, and you're back to 75% pretty quickly after one dodge. in st, outside of certain things, you really don't need to dodge too much, you could just walk out of them, but yeah it's just be more preferable to not rely on stamina and just unga bunga it haha yeah the armor would be great stepping stone armor if it didn't cost 300k ad to buy :( i would love that. but instead new players could just dedicate themselves to dragon hunts for better armor for a similar ad cost. and on the topic of epeen board, if you like you can always try against my assassin if you're in pc :D as a friendly competition, i don't mean to be rude or anything. you have a good point about dodging, even if it's not usually 100% necessary :)
I agree as far as ideas, ALOT of this gear is "updated" rewards or a variation on gear I've seen before (hcvos mini bosses especially) even the weapon set is just a variant of the skt weapons..BUT, it's a Free to Play game and alot of us have been FREELY playing,or only paying very rarely so I won't poop on their efforts to keep the game going. Ten years is a long time, lol.

The warlock debuff chest looks really promissing for a debuff build, maybe giving us the ability to play it like it once was, like a debuff class. ^^

Most of these equip bonuses are bunk! You'd think they would want to make them a little more desirable

I guess it's intended to be steppingstone gear. Dragon hunt gear is intended to be better than this stuff, as it's harder to obtain than this

They make gear that doesn't really fit into end game content. It may be fun but it won't clear Mtos.
