    Thank you for your informative video. I have a question. If the original battery has 4 terminals and the replacement battery has 3 terminals, is there any problem using the 3 terminals battery?

    I have a pair of true wireless earbuds and I lost it's charger. The earbuds have four terminals places like 🔢. Will they charge if I find the + terminal and the - terminal (2 terminals) out of 4 terminals and charge those two? Or do I also have to connect other two (BSI and BTEMP)?

    I have a pet project where i will need to charge a 12volts 10amp bike battery. I have a used mobile radio charger that i intend to use. The charger has 4 terminals: obviously +ve and -ve, then BSI and Btemp(much thanks for your video). I dont have a problem making the +ve and -ve connections to the battery for charging, however question is what should i do with BSI and Btemp terminals? Do you think i can connect them too to get the information they can give and how do i make such connections?

    I want to put a laptop battery with 2 black and 2 red wires in a homemade boombox. Use the power adapter to charge it.
    Am I right to assume that the adapter doesn't have all the chips to know how much to charge? Meaning the chips which communicate with the battery might be on the motherboard of the laptop?

    Hello :) at first thanks for the video. I’m now working on my phone Wiko Tommy , to make a car info display while driving. That phone’s battery has three terminals. I hooked up positive and negative wires along with the Correct position but it does not work. By accidentally I hooked two ( positive with Btemp terminal) up ,surprising and unexpectedly it was on. So can I use like that one ? Positive cable to positive terminal and btemp, then negative cable to only negative terminal.
    Thank you :)

    Thank you. I did not want to buy a new battery and decided to go with an external power source for a "sim card wifi hotspot". I measured the thermistor of a cold battery (8k Ohm). With the external power source i used a 7,5k Ohm resistor and it works like a regular battery 😉

    • @johnvanlandingham5730
      @johnvanlandingham5730 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, on this phone I performed a Frankenstein battery swap(actually came out very good and clean) connect the thermister pin on phone to a 1/4 watt 7.5k resistor would stimulate having the original battery connected?

    • @Pixeld.
      @Pixeld. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnvanlandingham5730 In my case, i measured 8k Ohm on the Original battery. This, of course could be different for other battery's. You need to measure the resistor from the original battery first.
      Note, i am not responsible if something goes wrong on your side.. 😉 Be very careful !

    (It has 4 terminals inside, so the confusion is where do the wires stick, 1st & 4th? Or some other combination)

    Can I use another battery say a Samsung batteri which my phone require 3 terminals only but the battery I look for has 4 terminals?
    I guess it could be fine since the connector would only connect 3 out of 4. While the fourth terminal would just hit "wall". Should be fine right? Like a outlet who has plus and minus and perhaps 3rd that is GROUND and IF there was a 4th that would just be whatever like data to do say temperature sense, remote control etc.
    Thanks btw for the info. Didn't know what the ports what called, now I know: terminal!
