    I have a pair of true wireless earbuds and I lost it's charger. The earbuds have four terminals places like 🔢. Will they charge if I find the + terminal and the - terminal (2 terminals) out of 4 terminals and charge those two? Or do I also have to connect other two (BSI and BTEMP)?

    Hello :) at first thanks for the video. I’m now working on my phone Wiko Tommy , to make a car info display while driving. That phone’s battery has three terminals. I hooked up positive and negative wires along with the Correct position but it does not work. By accidentally I hooked two ( positive with Btemp terminal) up ,surprising and unexpectedly it was on. So can I use like that one ? Positive cable to positive terminal and btemp, then negative cable to only negative terminal.
    Thank you :)

    I want to put a laptop battery with 2 black and 2 red wires in a homemade boombox. Use the power adapter to charge it.
    Am I right to assume that the adapter doesn't have all the chips to know how much to charge? Meaning the chips which communicate with the battery might be on the motherboard of the laptop?

    I have a pet project where i will need to charge a 12volts 10amp bike battery. I have a used mobile radio charger that i intend to use. The charger has 4 terminals: obviously +ve and -ve, then BSI and Btemp(much thanks for your video). I dont have a problem making the +ve and -ve connections to the battery for charging, however question is what should i do with BSI and Btemp terminals? Do you think i can connect them too to get the information they can give and how do i make such connections?

    Thank you. I did not want to buy a new battery and decided to go with an external power source for a "sim card wifi hotspot". I measured the thermistor of a cold battery (8k Ohm). With the external power source i used a 7,5k Ohm resistor and it works like a regular battery 😉

    • @johnvanlandingham5730
      @johnvanlandingham5730 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, on this phone I performed a Frankenstein battery swap(actually came out very good and clean) connect the thermister pin on phone to a 1/4 watt 7.5k resistor would stimulate having the original battery connected?

    • @Pixeld.
      @Pixeld. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnvanlandingham5730 In my case, i measured 8k Ohm on the Original battery. This, of course could be different for other battery's. You need to measure the resistor from the original battery first.
      Note, i am not responsible if something goes wrong on your side.. 😉 Be very careful !

    For who dont understand 4 terminal batteries, some brands like samsung, it has NFC built inside of the battery. Some have 3 because they only have: 5v, temputure sensor and ground (-). You can power on with 5v power supply but most of the times doesnt work because the phone detects an unknown power source without the temputure sensor attached to the middle pin. So most android and java phones will shut off and bootloops. So it kinda dangerous to the phone because the original battery has chips on top of the battery, so it protects the phone with overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrency. So CHOOSE carefully with well-known battery manufactures like syrox.
    To fool the phone it connected to a battery;
    1: remove your battery if its removable.
    2A: buy an exact model of the battery.
    2B: (TRY AT YOUR RISK) or get the original battery that has been inside of the phone.
    3: get a multimeter and set it to the resistense mode
    4: for checking the resistense of the battery, get the red metal end wire to the 5V section, put the ground the middle of terminal.
    5: after checking, if the read shows a spesific number of resistense, get the exact resistense of resistor, example if it reads 8.25kOhms, get 8,25kOhms resistor.
    6: check the reccomended voltage for the phone (usualy its 3,7 to 4,2V)
    7A: get a power source that sets the voltage and current, set it on 4V, its middle of the baterry capacity, like 67%.
    7B: chop an unused USB cable and remove the green and white wires, it usually for data transfer. remember we will gonna use the RED(5v) and BLACK(ground) for the phone.
    7BA: connect to a 5w charging brick that can found everywhere on the house. DO NOT GET A POWERBRICK MORE THAN 5W SUPPORT, IT WILL GONNA FRY THE PHONE.
    7BB: connect the 5V And ground pins to the phone. Set the adjustable power source to 4v.
    8: Make sure that anything is not shorted, double check the wires its not touching to the other pins.
    9: when you get a right resistor, twist its tiny legs to 5v pin and middle pin. DO NOT TWIST THE PHONE'S PINS, IT WILL GONNA BREAK.
    10: now, make sure that your power source is plugged, try to turn on the phone.
    11:if you turned on the phone sucsessfully, if you want to data transfer, get an sd card or a right cable to phone. Do your data transfer and youre done! Now your Batteriless phone is real. Do anything to it.

    Can I use another battery say a Samsung batteri which my phone require 3 terminals only but the battery I look for has 4 terminals?
    I guess it could be fine since the connector would only connect 3 out of 4. While the fourth terminal would just hit "wall". Should be fine right? Like a outlet who has plus and minus and perhaps 3rd that is GROUND and IF there was a 4th that would just be whatever like data to do say temperature sense, remote control etc.
    Thanks btw for the info. Didn't know what the ports what called, now I know: terminal!
