Just discovered Gangstergrass after watching a preview of AGT & absolutely loved their performance. After checking out even more music by them, I’ve realized just how much I enjoy the mixture of these two genres. I’m definitely gonna add them onto my playlist. It’s so awesome when diversity & open mindedness come together & creates something so magical. I already listen to a wide variety of music, not just from different genres, but in different languages as well, so I get super excited whenever I hear something new that sounds so wonderfully different to my ears.
If you're looking at the differences in these talented men, you're paying attention to the wrong detail. How about the respect for both cultures, seeing a hardened rapper, dance to a banjo, and a good ole boy rocking a banjo to some lyrical bars. This my friends, is UNITY. Not even as a fan, I LOVE you guys for what you're doing during these hard times. It's not easy to bring people together today. You did.
This proves we need all kinds to make world work properly, you take one piece of this group away and it's just another band but leave it as it is and it's pure magic

Saw these guys live for the first time ever in charlottesville and it was the best concert ive ever been to in my life the audience interaction was amazing and when this song came on i got so hyped
Bluegrass was a blend of Irish music and swampy Delta Blues, the latter sped up, with some Gospel thrown in. Rap is a little more R&B (Rhythm and Blues) with chanting instead of singing, but (the kind I like) still using a sung chorus, often sampled from other works in the early days. So, basically, they've been begging to be mashed up. :P
Walter Ingle Well that's pretty cool that it's working. I'm a diehard Blues guy like the Delta blues. "Muddy Waters invented electricity" nothing beats a good slide guitar. Maybe y'all could try that a Blues Rap!
Never could you convince me that the influence of the Blue Ridge Mountains could be blended with any big city sound. I'd tell ya it's a great idea but a train wreck... No compromise for the value of the music... Gangstagrass... This sound makes sense... I can relate to this material... I want to see more of this band... It sounds real... You guys are good.
