Funny thing, he grew up on a ranch 25 miles from my Dad in Bosque county Tx and now he lives on a ranch 25 miles from me in Parker county Tx, he has another ranch about 40 miles from me in Jack county. Still lot's of horse's, cow's, cowboy's and cowgirl's ranching out here in Texas, Thank God.

Jimmy’s charcter is so well acted. He manages to make mistakes and not exactly hit the mark without ever be annoying or overbearing. He did a good job at portraying character development. He is one of my faves.

There is so many real truths about life in this show. While he applies this to being a cowboy, literally this applies to every aspect of our lives. Ask yourself, Why do I do ________________ and if you cannot unequivocally say with passion you enjoy or live for that particular thing, then change it!!
The funny thing that most people don't get, is that Jimmy is closer to what a lot of the first white cowboys were like than they realize. Many hands in the 1870s and on, were lost souls looking for a new start and fell into a saddle and there they sat.
The grand irony of this scene being Sheridan hates acting. The only reason he took this role was because they needed someone who could act and ride on short notice and he was the only one available.
It’s pretty ridiculous that in all the time Jimmy spent at the Yellowstone Ranch, NO ONE could ever teach Jimmy how to be a REAL Cowboy, but a few weeks working at the 6666s Ranch, and Jimmy becomes “Jim” to John Dutton…
@@strumbum946 It's a shame because it started out really entertaining and well-written. But honestly, ever since the Beck brothers were off'd in season 2, it's just been a steep decline in quality. Storylines continue to open up when there's still big ones that need to be closed, characters keep getting introduced when there's still ones that need development, and all this season and Season 3 have done is just leave gaping holes in the story.

I personally don’t see how Sheridan can be working on 5 TV shows at the same time in the first place. After all, Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner both stated after the first or second Seasons of Yellowstone that they didn’t expect the show to go more than 3 or 4 Seasons, possibly 5. They didn’t want to lose the storyline and turn the Series into a long-running TV show. Seems like that may be EXACTLY what is happening with Yellowstone. Just my opinion…

If I’m still alive then and able to travel I’d like to contribute to those values in some way.
