People don’t realize exactly what it takes to get a series of this magnitude up and going. Getting all of the schedules to line up for the actors, then crew and finally production elements isn’t just as simple as snapping your fingers. And the world building needed for these shows nowadays is absolutely wild. So if you want stellar actors to be part of the show, and not just some actor to play the part…then the wait is worth it. Plus Sheridan has 3-4 other shows like Mayor and King as well as Yellowstone going so he’s giving as much attention to detail to each, which is great because it means he’s not just “fire and forget” with scripts or storylines.
@@carolchristiansen635 taylor Sheridan killed it with his arrogance, his weak writing towards the end (Jamie has it on Beth, no wait, Beth has it on Jamie), and writing 5 shows, but none of them complete.
@@carolchristiansen635no it’s Sheridan ego. SHERIDAN chose to not write the script for the final season, not Costner. Just go look up all the negative things people have to say about Sheridan vs Costner.

What has he not finished?? It seems like maybe it's just you being impatient, if you want the stuff to actually be good I don't think rushing the man by making false claims is not the way to go😂
Yellowstone was a phenomenal show the first three seasons. After that you could tell he started writing the show within 24 hours of episode being filmed. He even said so on Joe Rogan. I hate when shows and writers do this. It Turn from Fine dining to fast food.
I am a devoted fan of all Sheridan productions. It is annoying having to wait and wait and wait for the continuation and or new series but I am willing. Asked about who we want to see on the new series of 6666 I would like to see all of the characters return, especially Ryan Bingham. ❤️
I'm thinking the delay in this show is caused by the delay of Yellowstone. Since Yellowstone is ending, its probably going to be a big sendoff to 6666, at which point this show starts.
I'm tired of Sheridan making himself the star in shows. I can't blame Kevin for leaving, I am sure Sheridan's head was too big for all the cast to fit in a room.
Bring back Yellowstone I like the scenery there I like the characters I don’t know how much scenery Texas has the beautiful Yellowstone house gator we need a new cookbook😊
@@anncain2432 wrong. He's doing his own show with basically the same name but completely different. He's not coming back for the 2nd half, and last, season of Yellowstone.
They haven't shown hardly any of south Texas scenery. Big Bend is beautiful. I've been to the Kings Ranch a few times amd the scenery is nice but I'll admit I like the grassy scenery of yellow stone better bit the South Texas scenery is beautiful in its own right
I love Beth and Rip, but I'm not interested in watching them cowboy in the dirt of Texas. Sometimes a saga needs to end. Especially when it's on a high note. Yellowstone should tie up loose ends, add closure, and end after 7 generations in a satisfying way.
I'm confused about something in Yellowstone. Beth takes a picture of her brother throwing his dead father away at the train station. But the final episode when she goes to his house and threatens Jamie about putting picture everywhere she didn't know that was the train station? Then how did she know to go there to catch Jamie dumping his dad
Lived in the area of the 4 6's for many years. Its an amazing place, no doubt. But I just don't know how this is gonna do as a show. They don't have a Costner. RIP's character cant be duplicated without looking like just a facsimile. I hope it does well, and Sheridan is a smart cowboy, so we will see. I am pulling for it to do really well👍👍
Gonna miss seeing the beautiful countryside, mountains and rivers/creek scenery if they lean the show over to the 6666 cow auction type scenery. I loved the drama of who would fail at land deals and steals. Oh yeah and who would be the next be taken to the train station. Yep,no grizzlies at the stockyard either.
Rip doesn't belong on the 4 6's. I'm hoping Taylor isn't going to make the 6666s ranch another criminal based ranch, which it is not whatsoever. He needs to stick with it as a cowboy ranch, with hard working cowboys and not all the gangster crap he had in Yellowstone. Let's see more of what real cowboys do on a day-to-day bases; believe me they have a handful in their daily lives without all the murdering.
Kacey and Monica should have been the focus of Yellowstone. Not Jaime and Beth. The writing for Monica was the worst thing about the show to date. Kacey's complexity and struggle mentally and emotionally was the best thing the show had going for them after season one. I wish they went that route. Probably too late to pivot back though.
No way in hell they going to get some awesome scenic views for the show like they did in Montana, them texas shots going to be some ugly flat, dry, dry as toast, flat as a tortilla looking b-roll scenes 😂
McConaughey has never been near any cattle and dang sure hasn't worked any. He grew up in the city and stayed a city boy. I was looking g forward to seeing the new show but don't know if I'll be able to watch it with McConaughey pretending to be a cowboy. I grew up less than 30 miles from the McConaughey family and knew his brother. Growing up we had almost 200 head of cattle which is a lot for this area, a hobby ranch compared to Kings Ranch. Hopefully they make McConaughey some sort of business man and not a cowboy in the show.
want to see the end of Yellowstone when it comes out but Rip is going to Texas, so I can't wait to see how long Beth can stay away from Rip before moving down to see him dragging Carter along as well. Teeter needs her man to come down with her. Jimmy and Emily will be interesting, I like seeing the underdog that comes through in Jimmy.
Would seem Sheridan has just over saturated himself to the point that he finishes nothing. I concur with everyone on here that stated it was disappointing to watch so many of his shows only to have them dropped. I think I’ll let this play out and maybe check it out sometime down the line.
I have zero interest in anything being done by Taylor at this point. I loved Yellowstone but it got worse as it went and 6666 took a marginal character that is boring and tried to build a series around him. Really? Worst character in YS and now he is going to lead a show. Give me a break. Pass.
i purchased the entire last season of Yellowstone and that order still hasn't been fulfilled. Kevin Kostner's at fault for that, but I can't support anything Yellowstone until I'm repaid

I wish Taylor would somehow keep the Dutton family saga alive in Montana. I believe that Taylor is a writer/ genius. I believe that he can create a great cattle business/ quarter horse , business connection between 6666s and Yellowstone ranch. And then introduce a new character to Yellowstone: a distant relative who is a decendent of a son born from an affair a Dutton had with a beautiful Cheyenne woman long ago, and it was kept secret. Taylor can bring in another star to fill that role. And we can put Kevin Costner out of our memories and move on to some great Friday night , modern, Western drama again.....Break out the bourbon.
Mo, and Luke Grimes need to come back. Rip, Beth young and older as well as Tate, carter, and all the bunk house boys. Avery, Monica, Thomas, and Gater to name a few.
I’ve always fast forward when they go to 6666 ranch on Yellowstone always though it was boring & with no point but now I know why cause he bought the place & is using Yellowstone to promote his new series.
The story is cattle farming in modern times and the land it requires to scale the business…and if that land is desirable for more profitable pursuits… well… they win (enter capitalism). People are really trippin about the show not being in Montana anymore. There’s a reason why our beef in America is mainly from Texas. Let’s explore that. I think the story moving to Texas is relevant and would bring in more of the real “western” flare of toughness and grit to the show due to the harsher landscape. Screw the views and mountains. I love them, but so do the rich. Look at how land in Utah is going for a premium. Where the show is going will keep it true to the cattle ranching business and will keep the show realistic while staying true to the history of cowboying and how it’s done today. And yeah. It’s still done today. I served in the army with a couple ranch hands and they were more soldier than the rest. Real men. So let’s see how it’s done, where it’s done. So, please stop the bitchin about Montana not being the future set of this great writer’s story. Let’s just hope…. The conflict of interest in quality of storytelling and the profit of the ranch, HE NOW OWNS, doesn’t affect the show.
