Really good guide,there was some mistakes though. Firstly,the lichborne macro: #showtooltip Lichborne /cast Lichborne /cast [target=player] Death Coil Then,you should've showed the icebound fortitude glyph,which is awesome,remember,you need that icebound fortitude for a trinket (it removes even stuns!). and for me,as a person who use it on cd it is mandatory. Next,the enduring infection,whoever uses that is crazy, you dont want that damage red on your targets. You've earned a sub though :) .
Great video very helpful. UH dk was my main all through wotlk n cata but I stopped playing him in mop now im startimg up again and this was a good refresher. One thing I noticed in your macro section about your lichborne heal macro is that you dont physically need to target yourself in the macro to use it. If you type it as /cast [target=insert name] death coil it automatically casts the ability on you. It just makes things a bit more smooth to me
good guide, altho is you might hear the music was abit loud. but a few things. crit is not a bad stat at all for UH dk pvp, its rather very very good, haste is by far the weakest stat, since you already have unholy prescence wich you should learn to use correctly. also there is no need for festering strike as the healer can just cleanse them off and since you can now use pleague strike to put out all diseases on one target. and also another macro wich is good is /cast leap /cast Gnaw wich makes your pet leap to the target and then stun him, wich could be an additional stun for the Off- target, and also make a focus macro for it. otherwise i really liked this guide, and found it usefull when i started playing dk! keep it up!

I agree, in every 20 min guide I put out there's bound to be atleast 1 or 2 mistakes I might make. As far as the lichborne macro posted in the video it does work, but you lose your target. This marco will stop you from losing your target while allowing you to heal yourself making it more optimal. As far as the glyph of IBF goes it really comes down to your playstyle. Some people like it, some people dont. Give it a try, and judge for yourself.

I dark sim'd a pally in 2s when he used his bubble we both had 10-20k health and I was able to heal out of it with death pact and my pet killed him. THANK GOD YOU METIONED THAT GLYPH, IT SAVED MY TEAM

I justed dinged my dk 5 days ago, starting to gear for pvp , and i can see unholy potential, i have like 5 pvp crafted items and necros can even destroy the most geared healers ( or at least make a noticeble difference) :p

That's the point of the macro at all,i'd never use lichborne if i went for the macro in the video to be honest :D Also,i was sceptical about that glyph of IBF,but now i cant live without if. What do you think for Enduring infection tho? For me it's crap, because i prefer the diseases to be dispelled,than losing that 15% damage on them.
The lichborne self heal macro works better if you put yourself on focus and /tar @focus (I'm not sure if that's the proper way to specifically type the focus macro but u can look it up). That way you don't have to re-target if you're in a RBG :). You can also macro in your anti-magic shield as long as u have the glyph so you can't be cc'd while healing yourself :).
i disagree with this stat priority :< haste in 5.4 isn't very effective for unholy and never really was, blood tap instantly generates a death rune so waiting on runes is rarely a thing that exists.so gemming/forging to protect yourself against a super rare scenario is ..well ... rarely useful. i'd suggest any unholy dk to go strength>mastery>crit this build will mean over all more burst ..mastery for unholy based attacks,death coil and dots with high strength to icrease the crit damage modifier and a decent crit rating ( %16+) to make those huge crits land.
Have you tried to use Unholy Frenzy on ur Gargoyle? Without unholy frenzy ur pet will be doing 10x30k but if you use unholy frenzy on ur gargoyle it will do 15x30k ( 30k as example ) Please tell me if you ever tried it and what you think about it :)
My rating is 2370. The guide was built around helping new players ease into the Unholy DK spec. It was made in colab with another Glad DK as well. Its in depth and its going to teach you how to play unholy well if you're new to it. Why you seem to think i'm a noob is beyond me.
Great video dude. Especially for someone who's played Priest/Mage for 5years and then swapped to DK. I'm still spamming my PW:Shield key ffs. To hell with the music. Who's interested will listen closely and even rewind a bit like I did. Try to make some logical assumptions if you can't hear 1-2 words.
I was just thinking about this say if u have 4 death runes your health is low and say u have 40% health left now my death s hits for about 20k and heals me for about 35 to 40 k depending now if it crits it hits for a bit and heals for a lot iv seen up to 80k heal from it now my idea would be to use 1 death sy and then 3 ns now I don't like conversion because it waists death coils resource and I don't like death pact cus its a heal every 2 min so just tell me what u think of death syphon and why
hey i just lvled my first dk,i like the insanse aoe dmg but my dots only tick for 15k non crit,but i`ve seen other dks dots tick for 30k non crit.how do i make my dots hit harder?(i m full tyr+40% mastery)

I love you so much for this. I know you can do a ton of damage slamming your hand on the keyboard as a DK but unholy actually has strategy behind it.
Also in the stat priority I said to reforge mainly into mastery not haste, which increases your overall damage output.

Good vid man, only hate that you pronounce Rune as Ruin, but i shouldnt nit pick people pronunciation haha
you always use Death Runes for Necrotic, always. If you want to use Blood Boil or Chains you have regular runes for that.

Guys the music isn't THAT loud, chill out. I can hear him fine...
I don't agree with the breaking of socket bonuses. I actually get more strength and mastery and haste from gemming into the bonuses.
What is addon rune plz ?
It stops the priest from casting anything inside inner focus. :)
