Just be aware of front map light bulbs been over powerful. LED will blind you if you need light while you're driving and need to use it for a moment. That will happen with any LED light bulbs, not just this particular brand. I modified my clear bulb cover of map light just by simply taping over the lens optic and painting around it from the inside with a spray paint (gray color). it will look much nicer and collect all light and shoot it right through the optic down on your knees without blinding you and without light going anywhere else.
Thank you. I have a 2015 Rav4 and a lot of other videos that claim to cover my model year are in fact totally different and totally useless. This video was the right one for me. I wish you had also replaced the lights for the visor mirror
Thank you so much for sharing this “how to” video. I bought LED lights some months back and could not figure out how to change them out. The lights are HOT! after being on for just a couple of seconds. If they are turned off then they would come on when I tried to remove them. Now I know that I can disconnect to change them. Grateful in Alabama
Screen share, this is a great video. Thanks. Can you please update the link for the dome light? It now redirects to a non-existent Amazon page. Thanks again!!
I found the way: both of them are latched from the left. Stick a pry tool between the fabric and the plastic housing and pull it down. There is a tab on that side that you might be able to push in first, but I was able to muscle it down and didn't break anything. The whole receptacle will come out of the hole if you want; you just have to work it a little. (Makes it easier to grab the old bulb to pull it out)
You should be able to. Also if you leave your light on with vehicle off and locked, light will go off after couple of minutes so your camera will not be power on. But as soon as you turn ignition key on and start your car 12v will came back.

Negative... this principle related halogen bulbs which are burn really really hot... and it's also because it's glass ! LED are not glass, they are plastic, they also do not burn as hot as Halogen does... not even close.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I'm gonna have to pass on the SIRIUSLED with a Color Temperature: 6000K. I figure if I can't find something around 3000K I'll order proper led's and mount on appropriate base/driver. If anyone knows of some warmer replacements I would love to know. Again, thanks for great video. X/BillyD.. .

Nice video. I always appreciate the suggestions for disassembly of a part to avoid breaking it. Shows that you're a good instructor. Thanks.

Some time I use rag to grab them, it's not gonna short it out or burn anything.
1:30 there is a small gap for your pry tool not prying from the edges.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered my led bulbs today!
My LEDs that I bought stay on dim when the car turns off or when I have them off. How can I fix that?

Oh really? :(
The taps are frager? Lol
Yep
Niceeee...Gracias
"Very fragure"
Shouldn't touch the LED bulbs with your finger, the oils on your hands will significantly shorten the life of your bulbs....

Lol wtf you're doing? Just replace the bulb, you do not need to remove the whole front assembly.
I removed for demonstration...
Thanks
