Thanks for the upload. I've done these led lights before on different vehicles but wasn't sure if I'd be able to put all of new led bulb kit inside of that housing.
Asking a year later as I'm getting ready to do the same on my Rav4, how have these worked out for you? You replaced the low beam Halogens in the video, correct? Any blown bulbs/fuses or other trouble etc?
with mine i found that from the factory the headlights are adjusted really low, once i adjusted them correctly they shine really far down the road and don't blind other drivers
Hi Mr. Handsome Handy: Can these be used on a 2011 Toyota RAV4? Mine is very dim and want to upgrade to LED but some have said it will blow fuses sooner than later. So I am very interested in your lightbulbs. Thanks for any assistance!!!
Hi there, I do not sell the bulbs, was upgrading for a friend. Fuses only blow when there is a short or excess draw so that won't be any different than your factory bulbs. There will actually be less of a draw as these require less power. You can definitely use them on a 2011 rav4.
I don't know much about the hybrid but if it has standard bulbs like the other models the caps are sometimes tough to get off. I have had to resort to a hammer and screwdriver to get them moving before. They need between 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn but you may have to feel a little to find the spot where the tab and groove line up.
The canbus box get real hot is it safe to put in the headlight housing ,read that shouldn’t put close to plastic and wires , meaning inside the rav4 headlight housing is plastic .
Are you sure you have a canbus box on your LEDs? Maybe it's an LED driver? Drivers tend to get hot while regulating voltage and current. What brand LEDs do you have?
@@nothandsomebuthandy Auxito 120w Hb3 9005 its the same led headlights you installed canbus box meaning the small box unit with the led blubs is it safe to tuck it in and seal with the dust cap ,meaning will it get extremely hot in there , your led going good still seeing you did yours 9 months ago.
@@nothandsomebuthandy Tested it out before I put the dust cap on and held the lil box unit dint realize it got so hot to the touch ,ok I’ll see but the 120w is bright with the cool white I like a lot .
The rav4 has individual bulbs for low and high beams, and daytime running lights are actually your high beams running at lower voltage. So if you change only your low beam bulbs to led you'll have no issues. If you plan on changing the high beams as well the led will operate fine when high beams turn on, but may flicker or operate strangely when in daytime mode.
There are several good options on the AUXITO site, plug in your car details and choose the low beam or high beam. www.auxito.com/3DubbhbqHqhv72 Use code NHBH for savings at checkout
I can’t find the headlights on the website for a 2021 Toyota rav4. It shows options for all but headlights. Are they same size? Can I use fog lights on my headlights?
2021 Rav4 has LED headlights from the factory and the bulbs are not replaceable. If your vehicle has fog lights then you can upgrade those to LED if you like.

Be nice to know what year the RAV is.
2012-2017
I can’t seem to find any videos on install of a 2016-2018 rav hybrid. Can’t seem to get the cap off

@blessed9648 yes no issues with ours, definitely not hot enough to damage anything

Hello, my Rav4 has Daytime Running lights. Is it compatible with that or do I need to add an accessory ? Thanks.

I've got these in my vitara and brilliant, but could be brighter
Have you tried aligning the headlights? A big problem with the rav4 is misalignment right from the factory
Any issues with the bulbs overheating due to them being sealed up in housing?
No issues yet
I want to upgrade my 2014 rav4 headlights .. which one is recommended.

Can you connect the LED directly without the cap?
You mean remove the cover and leave it off? I'm not 100% sure it's the same connector but it's possible. I don't own this car so I can't check sorry.
