If it had Individual throttle body’s and no intercooler just straight to the itb it would look nasty and a lot less cluttered and it would work way better.

What do you have coming in terms of an 80mm. Ive been thinking of ditching the twin 62's in favor of an 80mm single.

WD40 on a rag while running. rub it on the pipes but dont catch yourself on fire. it should turn the pipes a goldish color

When you do the 8 turbo kit again, run liquid to air intercoolers, but without the merge run each cylinder separately so you don't get the back feed. It just means you have to have a perfectly balanced engine first so cylinders don't overpower others
I'll be looking forward to next winter for sure, would love to see this work out somehow, with a bit better planning. Also... how's Weeroy coming along? That could be a big clickbait success... I think the first video on that project got me here, and then the 8 turbos kept me here.
Im happy you dropped that ridiculous setup, seriously you can do double the power with one big turbo or two moderately sized ones, hood finally be back on, 100% visibility! And the car will just look awesome! It was a daring experience, new yet had to come to an end and just proved to people wanna try it by experiment that more turbos mean more power!

Next winter you need to just replace the turbos with bigger ones, or do quad compounds

I feel like if the turbos were being fed in groups rather than individually, they might have worked better. Maybe 6 slightly larger turbos, 3 per bank of 4 cylinders. Hopefully holds more boost before having back feed issues.
I did learn some things through the 8 turbo build but I'm very glad you are going back to something that is more in line with what I would be building. Thank you for all you share with us.
You want eyeballs? Try driving a turbo turbine or two with a mini jet then and see what kind of dead-head pressure you get from the compressors. Get the jet going while discharging it into a stainless box (and out through an open shutter directly across) that's also plumbed to the turbine or turbines; and then once the jet is going, shutter the box off to divert all the thrust through the turbines to spool them up. What do you think? LOL With your welding skills you could certainly build one of those jet kits. There's a cheap one on Etsy for only $300; but I'd hold out for the bigger one all the RC freaks dig. I'd do it myself but I don't have a sponsor or your welding skills, plus I'm up to my neck in solar air-conditioning already.

Im too old to get into this, but i need to know. I now squat about ls engines, but have a couple in my scrap pile. Cores i guess you would call them. Be a shame to scrap them. Keep doing what you do, it motivates people!

What headers are those?
Instead of doing what we all know works (one big turbo), do something interesting, like compound turbo setup, get 2 or 3 or 4 spinny bois and get them working right, maybe you will learn how to do the 8 turbos better

Why dont you try building the 8 turbo ls motor on a engine stand that has all the systems to run the motor . Prove the concept and then put it in a car.
