If sims was a family sims 1 the working dad that everyone appreciates, Sims 2 the loving suburban mother that everyone loves,sims 3 the under appreciated child who is overworked and tired, but is never appreciated for his gameplay or accomplishments, Sims 4 is the dead beat uncle who lives in the trailer
and all the side games are the distant aunts and uncles who give you money once every blue moon and everybody in your family talks about but youre like "who? i cant remember them"

Oh, and also, make all the houses almost unlivable. I thought about you yesterday when I was playing Sims 4.. I didn't understand why a teens boyfriend kept showing up as available for games and the likes as he wasn't in the house as far as I could tell. It turned out, after a bit of investigating on my part, that the boyfriend had gotten stuck in a closet ... I didn't even know they had gone into that closet .. hahaha I think he'd been in there for two days so I'm glad I didn't accidentally kill him off!!! :D :D hahahahaha I thought to myself that Plumbella would've laughed and said "If you're that daft you ninnie, you can keep standing in there. You went in there, it wasn't an accident it was a choice hen!"
Always here for the lore especially I haven't played the earlier Sims yet 😬 (just a bit of Sims 3 before) and all these lore in earlier Sims adding depth in the game is just mindblowing!
The snow noise is genuinely so comforting. It always felt like gossiping with a friend when watching Plumbella before, but now it feels like we're cozy in a pillowfort when it's snowing outside and I'm here for it.

Oh my god I miss Bob and Betty! I think the thing I miss most of all is the Sims 3 style Rabbit hole buildings, the school and restaurants in particular! Sometimes I just want to send my sims to the out for dinner or to the cinema without having to go with them, and the school when they would go to prom and you would see everyone walking in in their formal outfits!
I recently played Sims 2 for the first time in a while, I didn’t buy a burglar alarm intentionally just so I could be robbed.. he stole my 1.5k TV and my paintings and my sims wished he was dead afterward :) I missed the burglars! lmao
I watched that Sims Twitter go down and that Unsavoury Charlatan told me he would never stop trying to win Agnes over. There were handbags and serenades.
Binging this entire playlist backwards and omfg these are making me wanna play the Sims 2 and interact more with exsisting sims rather than my own sims. One thing I haven't seen people talk about that sims 2 had was really good teenagers. Like for example, teenagers could sneak out. And if they had a friend that had a car, that friend would show up in the actual car you gave that sims household. Like such beautiful detail in something so small. Sims 4 could never.

In Swedish it's called "Kompiskanin" which basically translates to "buddy bunny" (or "friend bunny" but that has less of a nice ring to it)
