I plan to tackle this job on my personal vehicle soon. Thanks for the insight, I'll be sure to keep all the information received from you in mind and check back in letting you know the outcome. Thanks again.
It depends...if you are going to the dealership they will remove the intake, upper and lower. You may be looking at close to $700. A shop may use this method and should be around 2-300 dollars...this is just an estimate based on the time it took. Try repairpal.com that may give you a better price quote

Hey what was the reason you took off the oil pressure censor was it because the car was cutting off randomly?
Car had a code for it and the gauge was not registering
The best way to do it. Is to take your whole intake off all the way down to the oil filter housing. And then you have all the room you need.
Thanks for the comment. I'm sure there are better ways to get it done...this was the most efficient way for me at the time. Be blessed!!
I need this done . How much should something like this run? Or should I say how do I know if I'm being taken for a ride

Do I need a special socket for the oil sensor
For this method....yes you do. I explained it in the video so you can have a better idea
How much will it cost to replace a oil sensor switch
It all depends on where you get it done. The sensor is between 40 and 60 and labor could be between 100 and 150. Everyone has different prices
Did the car start up after the censor was replaced. ?
Yes. The car will start even if it's bad. It will normally just trigger a check engine light
Does that fix the oil temperature from running hot
Hey man about how much time did it take you to complete the job ?
About an hour or so
A RT is 5.7 V8 that's a V6
It was badged as an rt...didn't really pay to much attention...
Thank you
