Artificial turf is cheaper to maintain and the average lifespan before you replace the entire surface is 10 years. That’s why FIFA is actively promoting artificial turf as a viable alternative to developing nations and countries with extreme climates. Where growing natural grass can be a challenge.
so the big question In order to produce a good playing surface , do we all need to purchase so called "reputable" and expensive machinery or is there just a slight chance that a company with not such a large budget can also produce a simple & effective piece of kit that looks to simple to be any good. BUT actually works well and wont bankrupt a club. ahh No, if you use anything that's not "reputable" and expensive and that's not in cahoots with the manufacturer you WILL invalidate your warranty. circle of trust eh.......

Anoop B turf fields are used only in the US and there are barely any in europe to begin with. 90% of the fields in europe that common clubs llay on are real ground soccer fields.
