Thanks for showing this video. I've been a solar enthusiast for years and just recently started getting into wind turbines for my RV. Vevor is selling a 500-watt model on clearance for only $91 so they are not probably selling well. I already know wind doesn't produce much power but just wanted something to augment the system at nighttime. $91 is a cheap way to enter this interesting field.

I have a rare PMA from a Honda car that had a motorcycle engine, called a Honda 660. They only made a few cars. It has six poles, and it was made to put out 13.1 volts, but it's 3 phase so I put the windings in series, and I get 39.3 volts out of it now. I just bought a generator last week so that I can build a pole and mount it. I needed it to run my welder. The reason They quit building the cars, the alternator puts out maybe 200 watts peak. It wasn't quite enough power for head lights and such. They made them around 1975, and I have saved this one to make a wind generator out of. It's an oddball, there is no part number on it. I was going to dig for the pole base but the ground is frozen today. The tower won't have to be tall. I'm on the South side of a hill almost at the top. If you go a mile in any direction it is lower than it is here. I'm building a different one out of a DC motor and a propeller. It has an iron flywheel pulley, and spins forever when it gets going.

I just got one that looks like yours. VEVOR. Mine is or suppose to be a 500 watt at 12 vdc with 6 blades. At 800 something RPM I got almost 6 amps. This is sad. I have 3 amtek 30 vdc motors that will put out 15 amps at 950 RPM. Had one to melt a 12 gage extension cord one time to the batteries in a storm. Yes, it was a long run for DC. 150 Ft maybe. BUT THAY ARE FUN TO WATCH when there is wind.

Forse l'unico sistema che non ostacoli l'efficenza dei pannelli FV sarebbe di montare la turbina eolica sul retro del tetto del nuovo fabbricato che sto costruendo accanto alla casa principale. with these turbines, you should go with double turbine voltage against your battery bank.
24v turbine for 12v battery bank.
You need to start putting power around 300 - 350 rpm.
You will lose max power capability (turbine rated) but at least, you will generate power without a storm.

*All practical tests show that small wind turbines hardly generate any electricity. And only at costs very significantly above 1$/kWh!*
There is hardly any wind near the ground, and it is also very gusty, which extremely reduces the service life of the systems.
With solar systems, you can reliably generate electricity for about 8-12 cents/kWh over a period of 25 years!
