Gracias por el vídeo iba a comprar esa turbina , pero hay tubinas más baratas y eficientes que con 16 km /h están dando 16w y aprovechan mejor los vientos bajos. Creo que es buena turbina a partir de 30km/h o ponerle más aspas para aprovechar más los vientos bajos , estoy expectante por próximos vídeos .

Turbines like this one seem to make a case for the vertical axis turbines, because they are not affected by wind direction.
Hello Crazyfvuck, yes in these wind situations the verticals are very advantageous.
I did gear it 1.4 to1 and seen 4 + amps at 9-11 mph wind. (4-5 m/s.) Put 3 bigger and litter longer blades on it.

Ciao, ti ringrazio molto per i complimenti. Dipende da quanto è la spesa che vuoi sostenere e la potenza della turbina che pensi di montare. Le Istabreeze i500 (250 watt max di potenza) di produzione Turca come rapporto qualità prezzo non è male, assemblata bene e con ottimi materiali, migliore di tante cinesi a prezzo di poco superiore. Devo provarla in esterno ancora cmq per vedere come si comporta. Considera che per una turbina delle stesse dimensioni di qualità TOP non bastano 1000€ pero'....
Our i1500 does over 120w at just 4 to 5ms. Still weak.. waiting for fall to come in. Next week im getting gusts at 17ms. Wonder how it will hold up lol.

Sería interesante ver el VEVOR y el m-300 en acción , creo que navegan mejor con bajos vientos que el Ista_breeze pero no llegan a la potencia de este

I would take that. My Vevor 500 watt 5 blade does nothing even near that. It will do 6 amps at 800 rpm. Seen that with a drill only. I seen 29 amps at 1600 rpm's. Never will see 500 watts out of that thing. It's a toy to watch. Don't buy a Vevor turbine. Thanks for the video.
Vevor turbines are extremely cheap products, therefore you cannot expect great performance or quality, personally I believe that to start experimenting with wind power they are valid given the very low price. I tried the 5 blade 400 watt vevor (the generator is the same for both the 300, 400 and 500...) and I recorded 19.2 volts 3.77 amperes 72 watts with a wind of around 10 m/s coming out of the turbine at 700 rpm. This type of turbine will never reach 1600 rpm....they barely exceed 1000 rpm in normal working conditions.
I did not check when it started making amps. So what you said sounds about right. I'm gearing mine up. Putting 2 to1 ( Maybe to much) and 1.5 to 1 gears on it just for fun. I think I will try the 1.5 to 1 first. Replacing the five blades with 3 nice wide and longer blades. Near 36 inch's each. 4 in at small end and 6+ in wide at the big end. Plan on making the tail a little longer because of the larger blades. Thanks to a 12 speed bike given to me I'm able to do this. I love this stuff.
@@basilkey2949 Compared to others of the same size, this turbine has more difficulty in starting the rotation of the blades, but for its price it is better in terms of performance than many Chinese products that cost a little less....
I have 24V system and Vevor 12V turbine with 5 blades, how can use this to charge 24V battery whitout victron DC DC charger smart 12/24-xx (to many $ for my pockets)?

Hi Digambar Idhole, all depends on the expense you want to support, for excellent products of these powers €1500 is not enough, many speak well of the istabreeze, from the i700 model upwards or ista airspeed 300w, then there are the many low-priced Chinese to start. ...

Ciao Nuovolare, purtroppo ancora non ho avuto modo di effettuare un test in esterna con vento moderato della Ista. È la prossima prova che ho in programma di fare in esterna. Ho solo testato la turbina a terra ottenendo una potenza massima di 250 watt circa, ma un conto è a terra un conto è con il vento. Posso dirti che per il prezzo che ha la turbina è costruita bene e per pochi euro in più è superiore a molti prodotti cinesi, specialmente per assemblaggio e materiali appunto.

There is hardly any wind near the ground. And it is also very gusty, which extremely reduces the service life of the systems.
With solar systems, you can reliably generate electricity for about 8-12 cents/kWh over a period of 25 years!

Ciao Massimo, sto' aspettando una giornata giusta con vento moderato per un test di potenza sul campo.....tra 2 giorni mi arriva una Vevor da 500 watt, ultima della serie Vevor, in settimana la testo sul banco!
@@windturbine io vorrei prenderne un paio su Amazon per testarle sull’impianto che mi sto realizzando approfittando del reso sino al 31/01.
E fai bene per più di un motivo dato che c'è questa possibilità, molti dicono che è una "pratica" scorretta ma non sanno che Amazon prevede questo tipo di vendita nelle sue regole. Una persona è libera di provare un prodotto e poi decidere cosa fare.

@@windturbine i500, it hardly spins at all, makes no power, the company are horrible to deal with also.
@@masterjones6714 the one in the video then, I have to do an outdoor test shortly to see how it works, superior models don't speak ill of it. Then I will try the most recent ista air speed 300, most recent and performing product.... at least it seems. I've never had experience with the company even if it doesn't seem very organized as a sales and assistance structure.
@@windturbine it doesn't spin unless it's very very strong winds, there's a boat next to me with a Rutland, totally different story, it always spinning even in the lightest breeze
Hi Jones,, your experience is important, even if you know that rotating does not mean producing energy. However, I also noticed that to start turning it needs at least 4.5 m/s of wind which is not a small amount. This is actually not a point in favor of the ista i-500.
