The benefit of doing the towel drill.
When i first started to try and snap the towel i could not do it. I tried over and over but i could not get the towel to snap. So i started to try stronger and stronger grips to see if that would help. Little by little i started to be able to snap the towel. I ended up with a tight grip and forearm to get the towel to snap. My throwing really took off from doing that drill. I didn't know how hard you needed to hold onto the disc to really rip it. The towel drill worked great, I started to get the disc out over 400 feet. Give it a try
