my favorite thing about the detachment glitch is how canon it feels. like realistically i feel like link would be able to break shit by putting stabilizers on it or by using springs to hammer stakes
Near Yamiyo shrine is Rebonae Well. Inside of that well is a part nowhere else in the game. Its a chain ladder. You can fuse an apple to it to have it and its to my knowledge the ONLY flexible item available since the rope and cork in korok puzzles doesnt save. I need help testing it but it opens up physics options of slings, trebuchets, and whiplike movements. It also opens up hinged joint applications to builds. Please help!
I mentioned the ladder in my other video from a couple days ago! Sadly, when you auto-build it it instantly despawns :( I have tried for many hours in the past week to find a way around it. I havent found one yet but im sure someone will find it

@@intothekey I'm guessing there's some kind of system in the game that calculates air resistance dynamically. For a part like this that's really big while being practically weightless, it would basically work like a giant piece of paper, and such a system would be able to determine that without a developer having to program that in themselves. All the devs had to do was set the weight, and given that this is meant to be permanently fixed to an elevator it makes sense that they'd have it weigh as little as possible

Sometimes you get data miners publishing the location of every single item, or the attack strength of every weapon, etc. They must be pulling it from files in the backend or something; there's no way they're doing it like me, in-game measuring every single item. How do you find these people?
Please don't let yourself be put off by the affect, that people use data mining later on. Usually, discovering stuff in-game leads to data mining in the first place. You could help the community a lot by that.

This is actually funny because theres another part in right leg depot(The bit on the rails) that ALSO doesn't break when you autobuild. You can use it to trap lynels and even ganon, which is what I did. Crazy how there are more pieces in this same depot that are built that way
You can trap ganon with some regular items, I did it with a jail made out of 20 chests. (Edit: the metal chests from mirkos cave) He can only get out with his high jump attack. He breaks the shock emitter though, so "into Pence's gay therapy you go" doesn't work :C
I don’t think they’ll patch stuff like this. Dupes are one thing, but creative use of the build system is what the system was made for, and I’m sure they’re enjoying how far people are able to push the system.
This isnt part of the "build" system. Im sure theyll patch it. This is Nintendo after all and this railing has nothing to do with "creative use of the build system". This is some major Ugrandan copium you're smoking my guy😂 If "wrong" was a person type of thing😂

lol, soon as I found out about this part I redesigned the side-by-side 2-fan flying machine I was using until then. The way the railing acts against air makes a great damper so pitch-control while flying is much smoother and easier to be precise. They even float lol! My new flying machine I use carries a Korok easily. and when not carrying a Korok can land on and launch from water (if you're carrying a Korok and it's not placed right, the front end floats too high and you can't interact with the steering stick. This can be fixed by summoning a new railing and putting it under the back-end of the vehicle as a floatation aid for launch). I can even land in lava now to recharge batteries with the way I arranged the parts. Link's toes get a little toasty while I do so, but it's better than going splat in the lava xD I stuck a short vid of it on my YT if anyone wants to see it. 2 fans, 1 steering stick, 2 railings, and 1 dragonscale (to increase the despawn radius). Scale is optional, but if not used then the steering stick needs to be a touch further back to get the same balance-point :)
I was actively looking for an airplane construction material. I'd saved a bunch of harder to find metal parts, but this object is lovely with simple zonai fans! My two-fan hoverbike got a four panel frame to rest on that's shaped sort of like the deck of an old ship. A v with a couple of struts to attach to the old setup. Easy and so much more manuverable!

You can find it at the depths big bargaining statue where you did the mini eye quest. And other places that have the fan elevators. So yeah that one spot is not the only place.
The railing itself can still be used but it now despawns when detached in autobuild form. This method of taking the railing still works, you just need to attach something simple like an apple or a splash fruit to it instead of a second railing as you were able to do before. Then you just gotta be more careful with placement in your building and use recall techniques more often if you place something wrong. All you gotta do is incorporate the railing into your design then take the apple, that way the railing will stay attached to your machine. The railing still exhibits the same physical properties as before. They could have totally taken the railing out of the equation - they could have made it so you can't detach it, but you still can...they clearly don't dislike the experimentation with it and how it takes build designs, but they just fixed the one broken element of it that it didn't despawn when detached. This makes it work just like everything else made by zonaite in the game so now it's a bit more balanced. Love that they kept the railing in the game.
I completely agree!! The way they went about this gives me hope for the future of the game. The way they removed the fun glitches like quantum linking and stuff really had me worried at first.
@@RoninSwitchtbf to them, it’s one thing to make use of the things in the world to create things, and balance the items players find, it’s another to glitch and duplicate items with exploits they probably think don’t hold to the ideal for their game. They aren’t Bethesda; some developers don’t tolerate glitches and view them as faults to the game

You can use the water balls from the water temple as the 2nd item. It doesn't cost zonaite, so you can autobuild the combo for only 3 zonaite. (This is only good for items that can survive being separated as the water ball immediately disappears.)
@@DroolRockworm Most items disappear when they're not attached to anything, so only certain items would find this useful. An alternative option would be making 2 or more autobuilds and combining them with the free water balls. The ball disappears. So you could have multiple builds on one of your autobuild slots.

Another benefit of the railing hover bike is that it makes yunobo sniping a lot easier, with the hoverbike, I could barely shoot a few static aerocudas, now I can get talus weak spots and blast aerocudas out of the sky nearly every time
I use 5 x raid, 2 x fan, 1 x steer and made a significant improved hover bike ! The fans and steer has to be as centralize as possible to maintain a straight flight while in the air, hence eliminating the need to touch the directional button. Both fans are installed under each side of the wings. One rail is placed at the bottomost to maintain stability for landing and take-off -\/- - (This is roughly how it shapes)
So what I did for my build I used the guardrail but I also put the two fans on and found out it falls slightly slower than the bike it's good to use for grabbing your vehicle before it gets out of range when you run out of power especially if you're exploring the dark

Instead of using zonai fans to power your aircraft, use the fan from the shrine on the spiral island. With some clever use of the battery, and shock emitters, you can fly forever. I used this to finally fly from one side of the map to the other. It’s kind of expensive at 91 zonaite, but it only uses 17 pieces, so you can add guns to it and have a warbird.
1:20 about to revolutionize it again, hover stone 3 rockets. 2 on hoverstone and one on railing line up so you can hit activate both, will just sent the railing to the wall its funny asf to watch was trying to get the stake in using a rocket then I added 2 to the hoverstone was using 1 before and than bang it shot off so fast I was surprised
I have tried for literal hours trying to rip off that stone door. I found stakes get closer than stabilizers but they also have the chance to be destroyed when getting really close. I have yet to take it off.
Dupe glitches destroy key gameplay loops. As such, they are obligated to fix them to maintain their intended vision for the game and the experience they want to create. Emergent gameplay such as this does not really detract from the gameplay experience, only enhances it. As such, there is much less reason for Nintendo to remove it.
This rail has some strange properties. I have a question though. Is the rail destroyed by enemies that can destroy Zonai devices like Lynels or the final boss? I know there is already something discovered that is indestructible, but I was wondering if this rail is like that too.
so i went to the spot that was mentioned and the rails do show an individual highlight but stabalizers (2) try to shift but it stays locked in place. they may have fixed that in the latest patch
Hi! You can still get the railing! Only thing they changed is that it isn’t indestructible anymore. Make sure you are in the right leg depot, not one of the other limbs. Then just to be sure remove the fans that are attached to the elevator. And from then on you can attach the 2 stabilizers like in the video. I hope this helps!
i dont see why they would remove the option to use it in builds if it doesint break anything, i mean it indirectly makes up for the lack of things you should normally see in any type of building game that totk lacks naturally through the zonaite capsules. unless it turns into something thats game breaking or busted like cheesing bosses or something like generating another duplication glitch, then theres little reason to stop players from using something thats useful for fun builds.
No reason to stop dupe glitches in a single player game except to slow player progression down. They want people playing til they are ready release the (currently unannounced) DLC. If it gets patched or not will depend on if they view as will keep people playing longer or it breaks the game. The blood moon resets the world to minimise glitches so unlikely anything like this could break the game to unplayable state.
I’m sorry about that, at the point of the video I didn’t think about this being important and wanted to skip the “useless” time 😅😅 turns out it was quite crucial! You can use ascend when you are in front of the gate, that will bring you inside! When I started playing I also forgot about ascend and recall all the time 😁😁
Im sorry but im very confused as to how people can use the saved build thing and detatch visibly green items from eachother. It says and does break stuff if detached. Does it only apply to stuff that are green that you detach from a non-green item?
So usually it is the other way around! Only non-green items can be detached and green items disappear. You can circumvent this by attaching something new to the green item then you can remove everything else that was on the build and keep the green item. HOWEVER, the item in this video (the railing ) is bugged and when you detach it it does not disappear, even when it is green! This only counts for these new items that we are finding that are somewhat hard to detach from the environment. I hope this helped. Feel free to ask more if anything is unclear 😊
Does this work in the elevator in the left leg? The one that has rockets on it instead of fans. I’ve been trying for a while and cannot get this rail to rip off.

The elevator piece is even lighter than Hello Kitty whose weight is officially three apples.
This and the seal stuffy are two of my favorite parts to make plans out of.

Snowballs seem to have a similar weight/air resistance. They will roll back and forth forever, never really settling in one spot.

Rail along with hold smuggling were both patched this morning. Rail seems to actually have weight now and disappears when removed from an autobuild.

Make sure you are in the right leg depot, not one of the other limbs. Then just to be sure remove the fans that are attached to the elevator. And from then on you can attach the 2 stabilizers like in the video. I hope this helps!

I think they kind of patched it, the autobuild pieces will disappear after detaching them
i dont see why they would remove the option to use it in builds if it doesint break anything, i mean it indirectly makes up for the lack of things you should normally see in any type of building game that totk lacks naturally through the zonaite capsules.
unless it turns into something thats game breaking or busted like cheesing bosses or something like generating another duplication glitch, then theres little reason to stop players from using something thats useful for fun builds.
No reason to stop dupe glitches in a single player game except to slow player progression down. They want people playing til they are ready release the (currently unannounced) DLC. If it gets patched or not will depend on if they view as will keep people playing longer or it breaks the game. The blood moon resets the world to minimise glitches so unlikely anything like this could break the game to unplayable state.

You can use ascend when you are in front of the gate, that will bring you inside! When I started playing I also forgot about ascend and recall all the time 😁😁
Im sorry but im very confused as to how people can use the saved build thing and detatch visibly green items from eachother. It says and does break stuff if detached. Does it only apply to stuff that are green that you detach from a non-green item?
So usually it is the other way around! Only non-green items can be detached and green items disappear. You can circumvent this by attaching something new to the green item then you can remove everything else that was on the build and keep the green item. HOWEVER, the item in this video (the railing ) is bugged and when you detach it it does not disappear, even when it is green! This only counts for these new items that we are finding that are somewhat hard to detach from the environment. I hope this helped. Feel free to ask more if anything is unclear 😊
