When you think about it, the object permanence for mirrors and dragon parts makes complete sense. Mirrors are used heavily in the Lightning Temple, so it would cause a lot of unnecessary frustration if they kept despawning while running around solving a puzzle. Meanwhile, dragon parts are expected to be flung very far away after detaching from the dragon, so those would need to stay loaded a very long distance to once again prevent frustration. Star fragments however, while similar, don't actually exist in the world until you get really close to their landing spot.
Since Breath of the Wild had no intended way of falling out of the sky, I assume catching falling items is impossible there (at least fragments and standing in dragons as you get launched, unlike Tears of the Kingdom)
Not really, it's an oversight, they could have easily made the dragon scale that drops from the dragon, and the dragon scale that the player drops from their inventory slightly different items.
I honestly just love the concept of a video game main character (in this case, Link) giving a combat lesson to a bunch of soldiers... and just being like "so y'know how when you pull out your bow in midair, time slows down?" and everyone being like "what in the world is he talking about?".

This makes things so much simpler. Thanks for the info & idea.
I really appreciate the visual and musical cues for the demonstrations ^_^
This just might be the single most important video on TotK I've ever seen
For the bullet time height you can fuse the wings zonai device to the shield for a higher shield jump. It's high enough for bullet time.
It's that simple, and it's one of the intended ways to get height.
Ok I really dig the music notes being used for button timings
showing input timings with music notes is an excellent idea, ty ty
The piano notes are majorly (pun intended) appreciated for timing inputs!!!
Piano notes with the controller inputs... That's a nice touch.
well this was extremely informative and i will be putting dragon parts on all of my builds moving forward
If I could like this video multiple times I would. Outstanding work!
You get a subscribe. 1000’s of tips videos and this is the first one that actually matters. Thanks and great job.
Note it is possible to switch cancel. just try to open your ability wheel right after you throw your boomerang, then release the wheel button and spam D-Pad right to open the inventory. opening your ability wheel allows you to dpad at any time
this is the first tips and tricks vid that has things I didn't know abt bravo and they were useful too!
Ok, guess what? You actually produced a helpful video. Not only did I learn something interesting, it was something I never thought of and will actually use! You just earned yourself a like and sub.
Thank you for that despawn distance chart, I will DEFINITELY be using that!!! ❤
As always this was a fun video to watch! Thank you Kleric!
They might have nerged the giant boomerang's sound files, but it's my favourite non-Yunobo mining tool. Attach a rock and throw it at a rock wall and it's like a bomb you can use over and over again.
Love how you make this tutorial clear with piano sound!!!!!!
The piano thing was really helpful and the dragon park discovery sick, thanks
This is incredible! Thanks for the tip! I've been so annoyed by my 2 fan bike despawning every time I walk 50 yards away to pick up that sweet sweet loot.
The zelda themed sequel to Mario is missing, "Kass is missing!"
THREE extra Zonaite?! Damn, this is going in the regular rotation for me. Thanks for posting this!
This is so awesome! I thought this vid was gonna be clickbait like so many totk vids, so glad I know this now. Subbing.
I've been waiting for one of these to come out, I don't watch the streams often so I get overly excited when you upload
You can also get enough height to go into bullet time by attaching a zonai Wing to your shield, moving forward, jumping, starting a shield surf, then aiming with your bow.
Attaching the wing gains you just a bit more height on the shield surf jump than normal shields, so you can just initiate bullet time anywhere and anywhen you want.
That dragon scale trick is genius! Great work.
