What's to stop the grease from migrating into the coffee ? . . . Especially when the grease heats up from use and thins out, or breaks down from age and separates ? Haven't seen any lube being added to any other high end burr grinders, other than in the motor end.
With the grinder does it come with the lubricant? How often should this tear-down be done? If I want it recalibrated mor toward espresso, what is done and what capabilities/settings will be lost towards other types of grinds?thanks
Thanks. My EK43S have just arrived. This video was helpful.
Did you have to re-align the burr everytime you clean the ek43 like in the video?
We have had trouble w our EK43 knob ‘shaking’ out of position during grinding. Any one else??

Is there any good alternative to Kluber 84-201 lubricant used in this video? It's simply impossible to find in the US.
