Same but in the collecting aspect. I've been out the game for over 10 years so I'm technically a noob again but watching same has got me slowly back into collecting again over the last 12+ months. I'm not worried about whether I get godly pulls or not, just the buzz from purchasing more is hard to beat
I tried to get back into the game after 10 years also but I just couldn't keep up with all the combos and effects you have to keep track off as well as having to learn all the new archetypes. It just got too overwhelming for my dumb brain but collecting has been pretty fun too.

Nicest people you'll met. anyone who hasn't been to Dollys should go and who knows, maybe you'll pull something rare like I did.

I've opened 3 tins so far. My pulls were solid but not that OP. I pulled 1 Pot of Prosperity (from the first tin), Droplet (from the second tin) and Red-Eyes Black Dragon (from the third tin and ik not as good as Blue-Eyes or DMG).

My best tip for returning and current YGO players: Because most staples are interchangeable between decks and you usually only have 3 of each, buy one colour sleeve to be your main deck colour and one to be extra deck colour. That way you can switch between decks quickly without needing to re-sleeve.
He may not have gotten what he wanted, (honestly not sure why you only pulled from the '22 tins when other older, semi-recent sets would have given him more of what he wanted...) but he does have some decent trades. Not including the pots, droplet, or dragoon, obviously. Hope he gets everything he's looking for.

$100, I'd recommend Generaiders as a nice starter deck for about $20 for basic cards and combos, into $60 worth of hand traps, and then whatever extras are which ever one theyll enjoy xd

I did pull the pot of prosperity from one of my first few tins I opened though so that was cool. Luckily I pulled the starlight rare version from my first and only box of Blazing Vortex I opened!
