    Super Slow-mo would be a great addition to Good Good Labs. It would be nice to be able to see all of the checkpoints throughout the swing. Keep up the good work!

    • @auriferous4462
      @auriferous4462 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Sadly, trying to learn the golf swing using checkpoints is like a kid being shown in slow motion what checkpoints to hit while throwing a ball. Learn "what" to do, your body has a way of finding out "how".

      It's the best part of my game since I rarely take a divot on any shot, but I guess that explains why my mid to short game isn't very good lol

  • @kyleprice1525
    @kyleprice1525 2 ปีที่แล้ว +34

    The mental thought of sweeping, as opposed to taking a thick divot with the 4 and 2 iron was game changing. After the video I immediately went to the range and went to work. Much better strike and shot height
    Thanks for helping the game out!

      Try taking a full swing but slowing your swing down a bit and keeping the same tempo all the way through impact and follow through. No where near the level these guys are but that’s something that helps me with those shots.

    • @cockofdoody4ftw
      @cockofdoody4ftw 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m pretty crap from 50 to 100, but I have a cheater technique for 30 to 50 that works well for me - feet close together, not touching, ball of the back foot, everything connected like a putting stroke with my 60 degree, a full strength hard putting stroke gets me 50, a little less for 40 and 30 is a feel thing that I practice before the round. Lose some spin for sure but it gets my ball on the green easy

    My long irons have really come around this season. My clubs are all +1” also so my 4 iron is 2 iron length but it’s probably my favorite club in the bag to hit off the tee. Having confidence in your long irons really bleeds into the rest of your game and makes you feel dialed.

    With the longer clubs it's very deceiving when looking down at the ball,I find most people that think they have the ball forward and just inside the left heel are 99% of the time way wrong and have the ball closer to middle of the stance!!Trust me to have the ball in the correct position it almost feels uncomfortable like it's way to far forward.

    This season is the first time I've ever felt comfortable with a long iron in my hands. I carry a 3 iron and a 4 hybrid just for the versatility they bring. When I played in highschool like 20 yrs ago long irons were impossible to hit. Now the technology has really made them accessable to guys who don't play every day. Game changer once you get used to them.

    With the Good Good name in front of something I would like to see more tracer stuff with ball flights for a video like this. Maybe some double camera action showing different angles on the mechanics of Tigs swing where they are synced so you see it from both angles at the same time. Maybe breaking down the swing/mechanics more from grip to stance and arm angles.
    Dont take what I am suggesting as this video sucked. I just love learning stuff about gold and the breakdowns of things. Still a great video. Thanks

    Blows my mind how effortless good golfers make the game look. These swings and ball strikes look perfect and easy yet when I try it's an absolute shit show 😂
    When I started golf (3 months ago) I was like how hard can it be to swing your arms back and then forward.
    Very hard apparently 😂
    What have noticed in the 3 months of watching 100s of TH-cam videos, every single person in the backswing has their lead arm poker straight and their trail arm bends
    I cannot for the life of me do this, once I got to waist height in the backswing my lead elbow just buckles and my arm bends upwards.
    Think that might be why I can't strike a ball at all
    Can I eve have a good swing if I can't keep my lead arm straight in the backswing?

    Thanks Tig !!! The biggest secret to me is your grip pressure. 3/10 pressure is damn firm. Will try my best to learn that grip

    it would be interesting to see micha, grant and bobby in particular who have different swing tracks in a trackman to hear your thoughts on it. best regards Robert from Sweden
