    Thank-you so much! You are the only person I’ve found on TH-cam who talks about this in detail. I did your varicose vein workout every day during the end of my last pregnancy. It was so wonderful. I’d love more of those! ❤️

    I got a little emotional watching this because I suffered with vulvar varicose veins very early on in my first pregnancy, and just suffered until the end because I didn't know how properly relieve the pain. Thank you so much for making a video about it. Now that I know that it's more common than I thought (none of my friends had ever dealt with it), and some ways to help with it, I'm a little less nervous about trying for a second!

    Wow... I'm 31 weeks, with baby #2 and mine started early, but I noticed them visually first... which made me feel totally disfigured, I was so embarrassed and still am, but it is really helpful to know I'm not alone (however I've never heard of any of my friends or women in my family having this issue). My heart goes out to all you other mamas struggling ❤️ and it's very encouraging to know they aren't forever... but we want more kids and I really don't want them to get worst 😢

    Thank you so much for these tips!! I really really struggle with these and have felt pretty alone in dealing with it. I have tried to be very open to my mom friends about it so if any of them struggle with vulvar varicose veins they know they aren't along and there are ways to make it better! I am so thankful for these tips and plan to use them with my next baby and will be recommending them to my mom friends.

    Thank you so much for speaking about this! Mine started with my second birth and now am on my fifth. I didn't talk about it even to my doctor for so long, b/c I felt embarrassed for some reason. It is no joke! Elevating the legs definitely helped me, not balancing on one leg (while practicing yoga), and drinking nettle tea also helped

      I’m going through this now! It started during my second pregnancy about half way through. Looked like purplish bumps only on one side of my vulva. They would get inflamed and large until sometime they got so irritated they would bleed. The doctor told me it was a varicose vein on my vulva and nothing could be done about it. They went away a few weeks after having a vaginal delivery however I noticed that sometimes they wools reappear while not pregnant but it was very mild cases. Now I’m preg with #3 and it’s getting inflamed again and really bothering me.

    These tips are so helpful! Thank you 😊
    Here are some recommendations my midwife gave me that helped me, personally.
    1. After a shower or bath, splash your legs and vulva with cold water.
    2. Never have sex in the morning. Immediately after sex, elevate legs and pelvis (also a wedge underneath your back can help keep you from being flat on your back)
    3. Dr. Bri has a wonderful video, 3 minute miracle and it also helped 🙃

    • @everydaysetapart
      @everydaysetapart 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh yeah, she also had me taking rutin and horse chestnut. Of course, anyone wanting to try these supplements must first get approval from their health care professional 😊
      Mine were bearable most of the time but excruciating after intercourse. A long day on the feet was also hard but if I was careful to take breaks and elevate then it wasn't as much of a problem.
      It's also weird, because I also feel them pretty severely on the first day of my period. 🤷‍♀️

    Thanks for this video. I am pregnant with my second and believe i have this and had the exact same in my first pregnancy from week 23-35. The swelling was bad and then it would sting so much and had to really manage it. Altho doctors would constantly say it wasn't varicose veins as couldn't see any. This started earlier in this pregnancy at week 19! The swelling in the area is exactly the spot where the veins are. I am still convinced it is the issue. I have so much swelling in this area and its relieved by ice packs and not being in a stuck position. The pain is unbearable at times :( I will try all of your tips. Thanks.

    I have this now, and it’s been so hard to find help even with my doctors. They came up during my second pregnancy. It appeared as purplish bumps only on one side of the vulva. They continued to swell through out the pregnancy and even got irritated at times and would bleed. Doctor said it wasn’t anything I could do while I was pregnant. I did have a vaginal birth and shortly after they went away. But I noticed they would reappear sometimes when I wasn’t pregnant in very mild cases. Now I’m pregnant again and it’s back with a vengeance, the bumps keep swelling/ pressure and there is major irritation.. I don’t know what to do, I’ve been taking warm baths and I rub with cream. I heard using zinc oxide helps.

      I was supposed to have a c-section with my second, but she came too quickly. It turned out fine… my midwife just held my vein while I pushed. For my third, my Obgyn wasn’t worried (even through it was just as bad.. honestly… it was very bad (like a little testicle). Again, they just put pressure on the vein during pushing. The literature says that in most cases vaginal delivery is safe and still recommended. I hope that helps 💞
