I speculate that the blade might be on the right arm because it’s the non dominant hand of the pilot. I believe Keanu Reeves’s is left handed and if he is the pilot of that AC it would make sense. My source is his movie The Replacements where he shown throwing a football left handed

I feel like this episode will have a mix between armored core 4, For Answer and 6 mashed into one episode to tell a unique story as I feel this episode isn't tied to any specific generation of armored core. As in the first trailer 34 seconds in, you can see an AC using vanguard overboost, a mechanic from Armored Core For Answer, flying towards mother will also from Armored Core For Answer, and yet in this new trailer we can clearly see the ACs using armored core 6 weaponry, so yeah it's why I think this episode will combine aspects from multiple generations of armored core into one episode

@6:50 the AC getting cut down has parts found in AC 5 and Verdict day, the arms being the CE series which looks similar to Balam parts, with the legs having a strong similarity to the legs found in Verdict Day.

along with other people's assumptions, i think this episode is going to take inspiration from the past 3 gens and combine them into one (mostly because of the use of a V.O.B. in the first trailer) for a (most likely) non-canon alternate universe story. also, dunno if you've seen secret level's official website, but it describes the armored core episode as being set in a "frostbitten frontier world". i'm literally checking it out now, there's so much more stuff to look at, including image files and a code we'll be able to eventually put in. i'd definitely recommend checking it out whenever you have the time!

6:30 I could be wrong but I see 2 blades on the hands the new one on the Right hand, and what seems to be the starting Pulse blade on the left. you can see what seems to be it on the left hand while he is swapping to the shotgun, and you can see the cylinder part of it, when he blasts the other AC.

@GREEN_KNIGHT3 hope that it actually becomes something, if we're going off the idea that this is in the AC6 universe that means that this could be either Nightfall Raven before the events of AC6, maybe doing a job for arquebus considering the build, or maybe one of the "other ravens" mentioned by chartreuse.

@GREEN_KNIGHT3 AC6 raven was never shown, that young woman was her operator most likely since she fits the description.
Operators and pilots are different, an operator is much like a handler but instead of managing all hiring and such they simply give field updates and communicate with other pilots on their pilots behalf.
The most evidence we have for AC6 raven is the trailer with Karl urban where we later on look at nightfall, but seeing as nightfall was AC6's poster child this was most likely just for advertising purposes
