This is the first ever true top to bottom in-depth review of the INTEGRUM RETRO Lightgun drive. Is the hype real? Is it REALLY as PLUG and PLAY as Jasen Baker says it is?? What's on this darn thing? I go deep diving into this drive exploring folders, showing the tutorials ALL of the games, explain the features and what exactly it is that takes this from a cobbled collection of game roms to an innovative spectacle that it is, Do you own different lightguns like Sinden, Aimtrak, Gun4ir, or Retroshooters? do you despise having to configure every darn gun everytime you want to switch between them? I havent been sent any links or updates when i purchased a drive from Integrum Retro when there have been updates to any of their drives. If you purchase a drive, expect to get no support moving forward from the initial setup. Better to create your own

@ThePerfectStormGaming Purchased directly from him. yeah I've reached out to fix a few things but he wants me to leave the arcade machine on and he will remote in when he's free and given the time zone difference, that could be anytime of day or night. . Tried to lock down a time but no reply. the issue is that I don't want to leave my setup open to let anyone remote in without me being there to watch what goes on seeing i have a pretty expensive setup which I think is a fair request. Haven't heard from him since then. All I'm trying to advise viewer's is do your research so you know what your getting yourself into, there is never a true plug and play setup as every person will have different pc setups for emulation. With all the extra scripts and backend setup that these drives have, if you try and add a new game, more than likely you will break something. Jasen's not a bad bloke, just busy which I understand. Just to note, I have a good understanding of emulation and have setup multiple machines, thought I'd try Jasens 16tb hard drive but wasn't as impressed as XGC make it out to be
@@mato6384 all of that is completely reasonable request. If you have him on FB I’d say to contact him. I wouldn’t let anyone else log into my machine whenever they felt like it either.

@@mato6384 Jasen remoted into my system with no issues, as Haunted Museum 2 wouldn;t load. I was up and running the next morning and I believe he emailed me saying it was completed. I've added games (most recently Jurassic Park) and simply implemented his scripts via Launchbox with no issues.You won't break anything.

I went on the links you provided to check out 16tb and 32 tb hard drives but I didnt see anywhere he has these two. Just ssds and the lightgun build

Just want to provide some constructive criticism. This is hardly an in depth review. Scrolling through the frontend showing the artwork and which games are included hardly tells me anything about this build. What about showing the install process or actually playing more than 2 games? Going in and out of games real time without edits? Or what about showing games that are more difficult to get working and probably aren’t plug and play out of the box like House of the Dead Remake, Blue Estate or House of the Dead Scarlett Dawn? Those are the kinds of things I’d expect to see in an in depth review. This video is more of a walkthrough/showcase of the frontend.
I’ll keep your definition of in-depth review in mind for the next video. I figured not having people sit through loading and intros of games would waste people’s times having to sit through the intro and loading of the games. My bad.
@@ThePerfectStormGaming there’s definitely some editing that can be done for intros and such but I think seeing the process of at least the initial game selection and launch into the game is worth showing.
@@BarcadeArcade understandable. I’ll keep that in mind for the comparison video of the Kris Koolmod drive vs this one. Also we have a live tonight at 9pm est we will take the drive live for some game play. As well as play some other games from my other drives I have on my cabinet. Not sure if you’ve seen we play on a 50inch 4 player arcade cabinet with an active marquee.
200 is 150 more then it should be especially for pirated stuff
Like I said it’s not just a collection of games. Dude does a lot of work behind the scenes with coding custom built tools etc. but everyone’s entitled to their opinion. You an XGC customer by chance?

You need to get your facts straight before mouthing off
My facts are straight. You’re being lied to by that crew of people my guy. Perhaps it’s you who needs to get his facts straight. Also tell Daryl to come himself next time not to send the people like yourself from his Facebook group. This isn’t the first time he’s used someone else’s drive in his machine. Ask yourself why it is every person who’s been a part of his company or helps out leaves?? You guys had that one dude designing awesome animated marquees suddenly stop working with the company. Why?? Was it him who was the issue?? Doubtful.
Before you come Twitter fingering on my comments get YOUR facts straight. The 32TB drive was Bakers. That BS he’s telling you that he has his own 32TB drive now he’s lying. All he did was change IR in the shaders to XGC. There’s a reason that his video is stuttering badly on the Sega Genesis wheel. It’s because he messed with Baker’s drive. The difference is baker makes it so it’s not just a collection of games like every other drive maker does. He actually builds a lot into it using code, scripts etc. so now who needs to get our facts straight??
You don’t just put together a 32TB drive in a manner of hours or days. If you could do that EVERYONE would be able to do that. Deleting artwork changing the names of shaders from integrum retro to XGC and reprinting shiny new stickers doesn’t make it a new drive. And that’s why it was stuttering on a simple system like Sega Genesis in his video. Thats why he can’t push out upgrades and will eventually need to steal another drive makers work. Because he’s not talented enough and too incompetent to do it himself.

Well XGC basically doesn’t let anyone say anything bad about them on any of their social media. You can’t have any criticism about them or they ban you and then the next day they post “their side” without you having a chance to respond. They banned me, then replied to me, how does that look? They look guilty af trying to do damage control.
