In this video we are going to take a detailed look into the Origin of Rayquaza. This particular Pokemon has to be on of the most interesting Pokemon I have covered because of it's popularity and massive strength.
Rayquaza was introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire in 2003 and still holds the title as the strongest Dragon and Flying type Pokemon that has been discovered. With a particular appetite for meteorites Rayquaza lives day by day flying around the Pokemon world to protect humans and Pokemon from unknown objects. Without Rayquaza the world would have been in utter ruins by Pokemon such as Groudon, Kyogre, and Deoxys. Join me as we look into one of the strongest Pokemon ever, Rayquaza!

A fact that shocked me was that Wally,YES WALLY FROM HOENN, was Rayquaza’s OT (original trainer)
So, After Arceus, ( ultra necrozma), and the cration trio, Rayquaza should be the strongest Pokemon, right?
I remember back in the day when I first found Rayquaza. It was actually by accident. It was Ruby version so Rayquaza wasn't actually a main character Pokemon. I didn't even know he existed. I remember getting to the top of Sky Pillar and was like you wtf is this a 3rd legendary?! Then Emerald came out and became my fave. Emerald made Raquaza awesome af when he came in and stopped Groudon and Kyogre. Super epic and Emerald will always be my fave.
Fun fact about Rayquaza: It’s the first Pokémon to mega evolve ever. It’s nerfed, and nothing can tell me I’m wrong

Mega Ray will obliterate Giratina Origin. I know he's part of the creation trio but Arceus is the only real deal deity. Anime also showed that Rayquaza can go toe to toe against multiple major legendaries

@@dthames0702 if you include the Anime then Ray wins, as his Mega Form is so powerful he can face the Creation Trio (yes all three of them), Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, Kyurem White and Unbound Hoopa and stall them for a quite a while and able to trade tons of hits with all of them.

In Pokémon Emerald, you can already catch Rayquaza after the Sootopolis Incident. You don't need to beat Pokémon League first.
