Pannenkoek has some videos for completing stars without touching the joystick, so I wouldn't be too surprised

nice video! I was really happy to see it's possible once you get past DDD, to be able to do the sblj and skip DDD but be stuck at another part would have been so sad, but thankfully that didn't happen!

Wonder how much more of this would be doable on the 3D All Stars version since the camera controls aren't inverted. He'd be able to aim cannons upwards, which seems very useful.

Try beating Sunshine without the spray nozzle. It becomes a very different game when you restrict yourself to the hover nozzle.

I feel very immersed being able to see the joystick move around, despite only the forward direction working. It's nice being able to see into the mind of a genius.

This was awesome! I always love learing the super cool speedrun/TAS tricks to SM64
I’d be pretty interested in seeing some TAS videos on maybe some of the stars you couldn’t complete. Seeing all the crazy stuff you can do in this game from people like Panenkoek I wouldn’t be surprised if most of if not all of these are possible in some crazy way.

8:15 I think you must go all the way back up to the surface, then come back down and the eel will get out of the ship. Then you can get inside, and even if you do that, the interior of the ship is difficult on its own. Overall, it's a fun video! Keep it up!

Same here. Sonic unleashed( wii)was the first sonic game I ever played. Also played sonic forces,(ps4) mania(ps4), all star transformed(ps3), adventure 2(LIVE AND LEARN AND, Take my lead and i'll set you free, follow me, trust me and we'll escape from the city)ps3, and sonic lost world(3ds). And the next game is rumored to be a remaster of sonic colors

I just want to say thank you for the amazing Super Mario 64 content that you produce =D
It's been so good that it actually made me want to pick up and play the game after, after only beating it for the first time in my life about a year and a half ago. I played it yesterday and actually managed to beat it with a minimum of 70 stars in just under 8 hours. I wouldn't have even bothered playing without stumbling on your videos, I don't think.
I love this game, and I love that there is such a strong community around it. Thank you for being so awesome and producing such great content =D

Couldn't you frame walk up the stalagmite on the "blast to the stone pillar" star in Jolly Roger Bay? You automatically slide down the other side of it when you get to a certain height, so all you have to do is jump and then ground pound at the right time to make it on the platform.
Nathaniel doing these Mario 64 and Mario 64 DS things has made the SM64 and SM64DS communities discover a lot of cool stuff
I like how he never even mentioned if he himself was capable of doing the SBLJ with only up, he just showed the clip the TASers made.
