Ashley has been the only one tries to check and adjust the side mirrors. So far, I haven't seen any learners attempted this safety procedure before pulling away. Good Job, Ashley! I wish you a very good luck on your driving test. 😊

Jokes apart, She drove really very well. It was disheartening to see Serious Fault on her.. there were some little mistakes, but I think she scored the best among all the students.

You’re such a good driver. I was shocked about the reversing, a bit of over thinking and over correcting I reckon. But I’m pleased you passed. My test next month and I’ve only had 12 lessons. I’ve been riding high powered super bikes for the past 20 years 😬 lol
I think the attitude you have when it comes to teaching and mocks is excellent. I wish some instructors better themselves.
Use the handbrake on a hill always. Using the foot brake and clutch is dangerous in a manual on a hiill as there is high chance of roll back.
I’ve my first practical test on the 21st July. I hope to come back here and say I’ve passed 🎉 I’m 43. Went back to it in May this year after loosing interest when I was 18

I have always been scared of driving but one day I saw one of your videos in my recommendations and got obsessed with watching mock tests on youtube and it made me want to learn. I booked a theory straight away and passed, my test is in September now. Honestly if I didn't find this channel (my favourite) and others, I would probably never have wanted to learn to drive. I passed my driving test yesterday first time. Your videos help me sooo much thanks. The ones who haven’t passed there driving test my advice is to you listen to your instructor and have confidence you will smash it. Good luck.
Just failed my first test today after 3 months of lessons with 0 minors and 1 serious. I was turning left into a very narrow side road and was still in second gear, a car was approaching and examiner used the brakes as he thought I wasn’t steering enough but I was sure I could’ve made it. He told me to steer more after he braked I told him it’s already fully locked. Gutted but will have to go again.
Oh no! So sorry to hear that 😞 with the steering and the fact the examiner braked, it just sounds like you needed to enter slower and use 1st as it may have been a narrow entrance.

@@ClearviewDrivingI was definitely entering the road too fast. The serious is justified. I should’ve selected 1st gear but I just zoomed in at second lmao. Next time, I’ll pass easily. Even my instructor was disappointed because I had done 2 mock tests the day before and passed easily.
Unlucky mate my instructor says when turning your speed should be below 10mph you might have been fine with your speed if the road was larger. You'll smash the test next time. 🤞🤞
@@abdullahlatif5659 Yeah bro I was turning the corner around 11-12 mph. It was definitely too fast. I think I still would’ve completed the turn without the examiner jumping in but it was the right call. It could’ve gone wrong. I’ll definitely be turning in first gear now when it comes to tight roads 😂
@@A8845A yh it depends on the road some have to turn dead slow especially if parked cars are making it harder for you.
I passed last Friday for the first time with only 3 minors and I lucked out with the pull up on the right manoeuvre, it really is the easiest one you can get. Good luck to anyone taking their test soon.

Hey thank you, I’ve just been using watermans shampoo for the past 3-4 years
I try to wash my hair once a week but ends up being every 5 days or so
Besides that I style it once and that’s about it

I understand that the exam requirements are what they are, but in all honesty, while Ashley definitely shows signs of moderate experience and still makes mistakes (as most drivers do), she appears exceptionally dilligent, thoughtful, sensible and skilled. Yes, the moment where she started slowing too gently behind that car that made a rather abrupt stop at a junction was a bit unsafe, and something to show that while following all your routines regarding the regular mirror checks, etc., 90% of the timeyou first and formost have to focus what's ahead. The meating situation with the car parking on its opposite side of the way was rather silly, but not dangerous in any way. (Incidentally, I think it pretty silly to park on the opposite direction lane, unless there's absolutely no room on your side of the road).
And as for climbing the curb -- I mean, I wonder who was the absolute genious to drum up such a completely innocuous imperfection at the parking manoeuvre to the "serious error" status?

I'm in USA and just had my second drive lesson today. I am 29 years old. I am excited but still very nervous and scared i won't pass my behind the wheel. 4 hours of driving so far.

Aman totally off topic from this video but why do people go on about the thinking distance when to brake I mean for me it’s instinct when I see hazard road markings or a give way sign or a stop sign or traffic stopping ahead or red lights I know to slow down and brake I don’t think maybe it’s just me idk but I see a lot of people stressing over it

With the gear part my ford hates 30 in 3rd and hotes 20 in second. I always have to stay in gears alot longer.

@@ClearviewDriving I PASSED!!! First time today with only 2 minors. I’m so happy but funny story at the end of my test when I was completing my manoeuvre my leg started shaking uncontrollably on the clutch causing the car to stall and I was so sure I had failed.
Hi Aman 😊my driving instructor is teaching me to press both clutch and accelerator (biting point) when emerging from the junction, it so scary for me as if I press clutch a bit down the car will roll back and if I lift it then it will go 😳Is it a fault if I hold the brake while waiting for a safe gap?

How do you arrange one of these tests ? I’m a new driver with 3 months of experience and was wondering if I would pass my test again as I feel I picked up loads of bad habits already 😬
I believe Aman is only doing mock tests for those with provisional licences currently. Especially with the backlogs I guess

My driving instructor says that 8:18 letting the the wheel turn back through my hands is a fault so I’m trying not to do it but it’s very hard to get the wheel straight… is this actually a fault?
Don't think so, unless you were to lose control of the vehicle whilst it was sliding back into position then it would be a fault imo
Letting the wheel slide back is not a fault but just make sure you try to guide it back and never lose control of the steering
