    Thank you for showing how to attach the two pieces to join. I had heard of it never had it explained that I could understand it. You did a great job.

    I made quilted wall hangings for Christmas gifts, I found that me and binding do not compute! it was a nightmare. The final gift was a quilted throw, I lost about two inches from the finished quilt due to taking my rotory cutter to the first binding attempt, my seam ripper ripped the binding so I had to start over fresh and it still wasn't quite right thank goodness for stitch witchery....

      Oh no! Glad you completed them and the worked out! I’m sure the receivers loved them! Keep at it!

    Thanks, this is just what I’ve been looking for. What kind of scissors are you using? Are they like duckbill scissors? Thank you again!

      No. They are embroidery scissors. www.sewcharmingquiltshop.com/shop/c/p/Gingher-6in-Double-Curved-Embroidery-Scissors-x69231240.htm

    How wide are the strips? Thanks!

      You can use any size strip. I think I used 2 1/2 inch strips. That’s what I normally use. That way I can piece any extras together for scrappy binding to use later.

    How long did you make the binding before sewing it on?

    • @sewcharmingquiltshop
      @sewcharmingquiltshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      I just make mine a little longer than the measurement of the hot pad. Then cut it where needed.
