Out of these weird little Chinese game devices I actually like this one the best... not because of the quality or anything... but the look of it, the quirkiness, the novelty... I think its really neat lol.

That would look cool as a monitor hooked up to a Commodore 64 mini or some kind of DIY old school PC mini.
Just got mine in the post this week. It was delayed by 3 weeks in my airport due to covid.
Hooked it up on my tv, tiny bit fuzzy but plays brilliantly with these controllers. Highly recommend it. Great selection of games. The screen on the little tv is great and so bright and clear.
I've had a lot of these Chinese 'nes on a chip' systems. This is by far the best.
My friend was playing with it too, loved it too. So, I ordered another one for her birthday in March so, that's loads of time for it to arrive in these difficult times.

That controller looks like one of those stress toys for people with OCD that you see on amazon. lol. Wow, these games are like clones or bad port versions of the actual existing game. Always impressed where and how you find these things Ronny! I know you said they sent this to you which is ever better, but you review a lot of cool things I never even knew existed. I do like the mini 80's TV thing though haha, that's cute and has some nostalgic themes to it. The clock thing is cool.

@@tylertrego1276 Even composite, I could hook up a Pi3 and just never get out of my seat again. Food for thought - they make tiny 4:3 LCD screens for backup cameras for RVs and stuff. They come with a little base but they usually don't have speakers. It might be fun to build a little wooden console TV shell for one of those... or 3d print one?
@@TheWarmotor that's not a bad idea. I've been using my mini on my pc monitor that has no speakers and just use an aux cord connected to a Bluetooth speaker for sound

I have the atgames blast dongle. I bought the Activision one because the Activision games were some of the best in the system. I agree the dpad on the blast dongle isn't super great but for what it is, it gets the job done.
Imagine the look on my face when my girl said she got me a little mini console for Christmas and I end up getting this lil box of doom. Mine has 300 games in 1 and 140 of them are puzzle or words games that mix english and kanji.
I know it does not advertise itself to have AV in though I’ve never seen anyone try it. Always wondered if you could like mess with the motherboard on the inside to make it AV in.

Maybe if the TV looked more premium, I'd buy this in a heartbeat to just have playing in a loop on my desk. Love retro TVs - I've been strongly considering getting the knockoff lego set from China that has Contra on it. Just because the TV looks amazing.

OK so... I actually have a potential use for this. When I get my basement finished and turned into a game room, I plan to have some action figures (Spartans, Cloud, maybe some other similarly-sized characters) hangin out, drinking booze, and playing arcade games together in a display. I could actually get this TV for them to play Nintendo on. It's about the right size.
