Are these completely waterproof with the sidewalls
I would say “water resistant”. But not 100 water proof
A lot of reviews on Amazon mention that the main flaw of these canopies is water pooling when it rains with potential break of the frame because of the weight. Have you had the chance of trying this out in the rain yet?
It literally JUST rained in Dallas after we filmed this and would recommend taking it down if its going to HEAVY rain... a light rain is fine and will keep you dry, but anything torrential, I would recommended a more commercial-grade canopy... family BBQ, kid soccer game, THIS would be your tent, but heavier than that, I would upgrade depending on your needs :-) Hope this helps! It's been GREAT for us!
I strongly agree. We just lost ours after leaving it up in heavy rain. Thought it would be OK because winds were very light but unfortunately it did not survive the pooling water
I personally found the plastic hinges on the master canopy very fragile. Other models have metal hinges which are much stronger and better. Would not recommend the master canopy frame.
YOu mede that look easy with cutting clips out its a piece of shit I bought one nothing but trouble with it..one of the center clips came out never got it back in used a long bolt/screw to make it stay
Man sorry to hear that... we've been using ours all summer and haven't had any issues... try taking yours back to the retailer, maybe its just a lemon?
Rubbish .. poor instructions , including this video .. who needs to see how to put on Velcro .. knowing WHERE would be helpful .. SNAPPED on first assembly 300 euros down the drain .. thanks for nothing
Exact same experience. Paid $250 and frame broke first time we took it down. Canopy fit poorly. No vent at top. Cheap piece of crap. And the nice base with wheels? The plastic wheels were in a separate bag with nothing to attach them. No instructions sewn on bag. The old bait and switch.
It is not easy to pop up if you have arthritis.
