  • In this video, I review the MasterCanopy Pop up Gazebo and give my thoughts after 12 months. I also show you how to put up this gazebo on your own in under 3 minutes although with 2 people it only takes 1 minute.
    I have been super impressed with this gazebo, you can also read my full review here: www.pyracantha.co.uk/MasterCa...
    You can also buy one from Amazon here: amzn.to/3vO7WIR

    Had one. 10x10 with the roof vent that supposedly makes it a better choice for windy areas. Second time I ever used it… first time was a calm sunny day and it was great. Yesterday it got completely destroyed by the infamous afternoon wind gusts at Willow springs raceway. The scissoring struts broke in three places and it collapsed. Scratched the crap out of my truck to which it was secured. There were 100 other guys out there with their own Ez-up/canopies. Mine was the one that got destroyed. I left it for the trash collector. Cheap thin wall pot metal struts that have no secondary reinforcement. Attached with 4mm bolts through crappy plastic joints. It can work just fine if there is no wind. It is expensive garbage if there is wind

    Great video that shows how easy it is with one person especially when staking one corner first.

    This was a joy to watch! The time-lapse part was cool. I live in America, is your accent Yorkshire? I'll be using this tent indoors and not outdoors
    Thank you for the video!

    Hi. Thanks, this looks great. I got one but it snapped on 2 joints when I was pulling it apart. I'd like to give it another go. Do you think if I loosen the Alan bolts on the joints a little, it would be better.... while it's new and so stiff and re tighten then when it correct position?

      @pyracantha6028  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Janis. I have used mine a lot. Especially recently above a bouncy castle to keep it cool and although it was stiff at first I never had any issues. I think it could work, maybe just loosen them slightly but I've not had to do this myself. Have you told Mastercanopy about it breaking, maybe it was a fault and they were not supposed to be as tight and might replace it for you? I would mention you seen it on a review and they recommended you speak to the manufacture as it was their top recommended product.

    Brand new 10x10 from Amazon. I am 5’4 and cannot get the top fastener to slide up enough to snap into the hole below tent corner. No leverage as when i step on the bottom it slides up. Exhausted, any tips?

    • @pyracantha6028
      @pyracantha6028  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All I can suggest if you work each corner up a little at a time working your way round until one clips on. What I will say is that it's very stiff at first but does get easier the more its used.

    I've had mine 5 months and it collapsed in the rain. I need replacement parts from the manufacturer, do you have an email or phone number for them? I tried going through amazon they have nothing

    • @pyracantha6028
      @pyracantha6028  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I don't have direct numbers, I know they sell replacement covers. Have you tried contacting them through Amazon through the order you placed?

    • @jpeshek
      @jpeshek 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@pyracantha6028 I actually figured it out. So when you click the sellers name in a listing it takes you to the store, and there is no contact information there. When you bring up your order and click on support it takes you to a now defunct website, so no luck there. But on the right of the product listing, where it says "sold by", that link takes you to the seller page where I was able to contact them and they are resolving my problem as we speak.

      @pyracantha6028  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a video on how to put it up, think it might show how to take it down on that video. Basically I leave one leg weighted and slowly move each leg in until its all folded down, I also leave the fabric cover on.
