Great service my friend,I have a 2006 mk 2 ghia & pretty much do the same yearly. That pollen filter Is a pig to remove.I remove a stubborn sump plug with a set of Irwin sockets & replace the plug anyway.Keep a eye on the bonnet catch as the white plastic piece inside is known to fail.
Brian Fearn of course. I have a video coming soon about replacing my wife's car door mirror (similar to the mk2) so I'll go through the bulb replacement as well as the ones in my car look a bit yellow.
I got the parts from GSF, but that was 18 months ago and some products changed. Either go to the GSF, AUTODOC or ECP website where you type your car numberplate and a list of products will come up.
I had to because, as I showed in the video, the colour coating on the bulbs was nearly gone, hence the advisory on the MOT. The indicator bulbs were almost white.
@@nanokananoka9146 oh yes! Well, usually it is different metals within the engine that heat and expand at different rates. Also lubrication is low when engine is cold so this causes the knocking noise. Common on older small engines with alloy and steel components, like Rover’s K series.

Does anyone know how to unplug the tube at the bottom of the housing that goes to this small sponge?
I think you jure pull it out
I'm asking because there's a clasp there and I don't want to break anything
@@marianoitaliano7403 ok, I see. I no longer have the car, but I think i just pulled mine and it was easy. Your might have not been removed yet

Does it mean you no longer drain the oil through the sump plug?
No, only this time as I didn’t have a spare sump plug. I’ll be replacing it on the next oil change
Hi, what makes the engine ring? It's similar to me
