    Great video, very professional install. I’ve never heard of using threadlocker to help slide on a bearing. Actually I’ve had bearings seize because threadlocker got into the bearing.
    This diff looks bulletproof!

    Great Video you know I use fast eddy bearings too funny thing is they are no different from stock they are just chinese bearings in a nice package with a higher price tag! Yes we got took and I got took 4 times🤣🤣🤣. So with that said I take all my bearings apart ( remove the seal) blow out the grease and rinse with a degreaser the repack the bearings with team fast eddy grease and reinstall the seal! Tight n right!! 🤝⛽️⛽️⛽️🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼God bless my brother in Christ!

    Im confused .. rebuilt mine and it functiona fine pre post assembly.
    . But once in the car it will counter rotate half the rotation then just lock in.. stays locked until i make it happen..yet no leak no filings very odd 🙄

      @316RC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds odd. Should be able to rotate forward and backwards with no resistance. Check the rest of your drive train.

    Is the alloy of the regular casing made of a light alimunium like metal as well, or is it a heavy steel like alloy?

    4:34 were is the assembly Lube??

    • @316RC
      @316RC  ปีที่แล้ว

      No assembly lube required on a sealed diff except for I usually put some oil on the O-rings. Silicone diff fluid fill @ 16:40.

    Hi, is it necessary to change the diff oil straight out of the box. Just bought a rovan stealth and the lad in the shop advised to change it ?

    • @316RC
      @316RC  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Quick answer is no but.... Rovan is know to be stingy on the diff fluid. They are easy to take apart and at least check before running. I would. If not you maybe re building the diff sooner than later.

    please tell me, when you turn the differential shafts in different directions, do they spin smoothly without effort? I have a new differential and when I turn the axles in different directions, they resist a few degrees, then spin freely, as if they spin at some intervals

    • @michaelinzitari
      @michaelinzitari 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s interesting. My heavily used Rovan had its diff completely locked. I took it apart and put it back together. Smooth now. No idea why it was locked. No signs of excessive wear and no locking parts inside.
      You should rebuild it and see if you can make it smooth at all times.

    • @316RC
      @316RC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like a worn drive cup or bearing.

  • @henkharry8408

    hope its not the dif and only a bearing
