When you put the car into dragstrip mode it will precondition the battery to optimal temperature, which will take longer in the winter to prepare. If you give it the time that it needs to get to the right temperature then it will be equally fast. But it's ridiculously quick all year round so I would never say It feels slow by any stretch of the imagination.
