Chin is unlikely to win a second all star before he retires unfortunately. Contention for Hurler of the Year until Clare beat them, but Wexford didn't get to the semis. If he can get there he'll be in with a solid chance but until then he'll only get a nomination

Patrick Horgan and Aaron Gillane should have been included in the full forward line. Brian Hayes has been very good, but doesn't deserve a place in the full forward line.

This is a genuine question. What is the entry criteria to earn a coveted spot on the RTE Sunday Game sofa? I'd love to give it a go but based on the 6 panelists in this video, there seems to be mostly similar experience with the massive exception of 1 panelist. I have never played, refereed, coached or managed hurling at any level, be it underage/adult at club/intercounty level. I havent volunteered for any hurling activities. I watch plenty games and know a lot of people who are heavily involved as well as having a strong interest myself. However I have dedicated my 40 years on this planet to a different sport and have never promoted the development of hurling. Can I please be considered?

Collins literally conceded 3 goals in the all Ireland final meanwhile Quaid has been possibly the best goalkeeper this generation and still got a Munster title this year

Why? Before the match, Clare already had an excuse if they lost. They would have blamed a Limerick ref. Limerick don't like Clare and as It happens, Clare hate Limerick. They won today deservedly as they were the best team on the day and that is all that counts. To finish, there will always be incidents the ref doesnt see, it's easy for the punnits to pontificate with the benefit of TV replays.

I think selection are influenced a lot by the performance on final days alone..but that's the way it is.
