@@infebris I think it’s because it feels important to his character, he was left hand for many years. Basically Many Zelda fans grew up with left handed Link and that’s what they know him as,

ALTTP map, Link's Awakening art-style, Totk/Botw mechanics. Seems like this game is going to be a mix of a bunch of past Zelda games, and I'm here for it.
I’m honestly not that excited for them to be recycling the ALttP map again. I really hope that it’s at least not a tile-for-tile copy or that they at the very least put some kind of different spin on it which isn’t just another version of the light/dark world thing we already got in ALttP and ALBW. The ALttP map is more than 30 years old at this point and has already been used for two games. I really hope they do something that feels a bit more fresh, grander and more up to modern standards than another ALBW-style map recycle. Also, the open-ended puzzle solving they are seemingly trying to bring over from BotW/TotK is making me a bit worried that Nintendo is never going to give us another traditional Zelda game with tightly designed temples ever again. Not even a 2D one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still excited for the game. It’s just that these things worry me a bit.
First video I’ve seen on your channel, the cheeky smile at the end and the “do iiiit!” immediately made me like your personality and check out your channel Just felt like sharing this 😊
Im actually so excited for this game! Getting to play as zelda sounds so fun, and i'm sure that the ultrahand-style mechanic will work much better within the stricter barriers of the 2d world. I wish you could fight normally though, even if it was just like a stick bonk. Ive never enjoyed playing summoners in games like skyrim or terraria, but maybe this will be different due to the more niche enemies. Also, so happy heart pieces are back! I have 100%ed almost every single zelda game there is, and the lack of collectibles in botw and totk were a real downer for me, especially since things like the lightroot medallion, zonai armour, and most of the korok seeds get you basically nothing. So glad that there will be a much clearer direction for 100%ers!!!
Calling it now, the main villain is not Ganondorf but someone else with a similar power to Zelda’s, kinda like Yuga from ALBW. Ganondorf is only an echo and will be a mid game boss, one of the end game bosses will be an echo of link before we free him. Maybe it will be a Zelda and Link final battle like Wind Waker or Spirit tracks
If it wasn’t for link… you know He would have made a cool 2 player mechanic because player 2 can’t use the cool building mechanic instead letting them use a sword and normal Zelda gameplay to help player one could be really cool and for some reasons such as one of the areas shown in the trailer looking like the are link and the other townspeople got sucked into I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think that this mechanic may exist in this game
The trailer shows Zelda in jail, and an Impa like character attacking guards. Later Zelda is shown not wearing her Princess clothes, and hiding her face behind Link's cloak. If I had to make a guess, Zelda is in a different Hyrule, and the castle believes she's an imposter.
This is something I think everybody's been asking for a game where you play as Zelda plus it's a mix of being open world and this seems like it's going to be a lot more of a puzzle game which I mean I'm not really a puzzle game guy but I haven't played a good one in a while
The boss that luck was fighting also looks like the boss from link to the past, and in link to the past, zelda and other peoplebwere trapped in crystals
I think it'll be fine as long as there's less of it than in a typical Zelda game. Using echoes and the environment to summon minions and build traps looks cool, but it will get old if there are still ChuChus popping out of the ground at random and we're having to flick through a menu every 5 seconds instead of just whacking things with a sword
I feel like this is going to be a good mix that makes both sides happy. There will definitely be things that make both sides mad, but that's the internet. 🤷
yall didn't notice the DEKU TREE AND THE FACT THAT THE ACTUAL DEKU SCRUBS ARE BACK?? we may have an idea of where echoes of wisdom will be in the timeline when it releases
Honestly, with the way the box art looks, I would absolutely love it if we had to fight Link, who is possessed, before fighting the final boss; kind of like Twilight Princess. Then Zelda and Link fight the final boss together. I think that’d be pretty cool.
You might notice that as Zelda uses echoes they have a triforce piece above them and Tri's tail gets shorter, so I'm guessing these are connected and that is how progression is measured, as well as collecting echoes
Hoping it won’t be too open ended and that they’ll add new mechanics and ways to play as you progress. My biggest complaint with both Botw/Totk is the they both get repetitive eventually because the gameplay never evolves. What you get access to during your first 1-2 hours is what you’ll use for the rest of the game.
The game is literally releasing a few months after it was announced. Its not going to be a 2D BotW, its just padding between the mainline installments. Not saying its going to be bad, but lets be real here.
Link has always and will always be left handed. Even in the games where he fights right handed. Irl knights who were left handed were made to fight right handed by tradition. There is evidence that he writes left handed, even in the games he doesn't fight with it
As someone who hates BOTW and TOTK, I found it really good as a top-down Zelda game. Not Link Between worlds great, but good nonetheless. Actually felt like I was playing Zelda. What I didn’t like is Zelda’s fighting being reliant on Link, as well as some other female warriors text lines.
The one thing about Nintendo games I dislike are allies. I'd like this more if she didn't have a buddy tag along. Midna grew on me after more than half the game. I just hate them.
left handed link AND a heart piece? looks like they haven't forgotten their traditions after all...

A zelda game with zelda as the main character?
This is technically a true zelda game
This game is probably going to be relevant for like 2 weeks
The trailer shows Zelda in jail, and an Impa like character attacking guards. Later Zelda is shown not wearing her Princess clothes, and hiding her face behind Link's cloak. If I had to make a guess, Zelda is in a different Hyrule, and the castle believes she's an imposter.
Zelda: fine, what what happens when i cast a spell i dont know
That yellow fairy: *proceed
Finally, a sequel to Zelda: Wand of Gamelon!
Zelda wearing Link’s hood is one of the cutest things from the entire franchise.
Link seems like a cool character maybe we can get a game about him in the future
I love the SiIvaGunner music in the background. (It's the overworld theme from Zelda: Wand Of Gamelon remixed to sound like Echoes Of Wisdom)

Love the GG wand of gamelon music
I love that the game looks to be more strategy based rather than just fighting because zelda holds the triforce of wisdom.

looks like link's awakening
It's supposed to it runs on the same engine
It’s almost definitely in the downfall timeline so the map being similar to LTTP makes sense
What i think is the biggest evidence of this being set in ALtTP, or at least heavily based on it is Ganon's design.

Say it with me “Topdown.” It’s not 2D anymore. 2D Zelda also includes Adventure of Link which is completely different.
You can't spawn infinite echos it seems they seem to use the triforce pieces that are flying behind the fairy
