This piece was honestly the most memorable thing about the latest season for me. It just stands out so much against any of the music previously used in the show. In a good way, in my opinion.
AngryPrawn after I finished the season, I couldn't stop thinking about this song. It was haunting me. I hadn't played piano in 5 years and couldn't remember how (I played for 7 years until high school). I retaught myself how to play piano just to learn this song.
I noticed the show's music back in S1.The whole soundtrack is one of the best put to screen.But yeah,this is one of the best pieces and I'm glad it turned people to notice the music on the show more.

PianoMania I think you should refrain from using the movie scenes montage as it distracts attention from your hands which is really what I wanna see....

The montage added to the suspense feeling of the song..Even though anyone who's seen that episode knew what was going to happen next. Great idea, in my opinion.
Honestly, the music is emotional all by itself.

I am baffled and left completely speechless by what you've done. At times you play 3 different melodies at once with only two hands. Not only is it a perfect cover of a whole orchestra on a single piano, it's also by heart and by the looks of it one take. I can't express my awe and respect enough. Kudos!!

Just learning piano is not enough you need to remember a lots of sounds and key associated with them i.e. A very good memory.. kudos to all those people who knows how to play a piano

It's not that hard to be honest
you don't need to remember every single key you just remember how far to move your hand
You're hands are huge! From C to D#??? I can only reach from C to C... Is there maybe like a version for Tyrion hands?

You just need to be juggle your hands a little
There is a version that uses C to C instead of C to D# and so on but it's not half as elaborate or beautiful. I even found a simplified version that is only one page
You don't need to reach from the C to D#. You can pivot with finger 2 on the G that is in between, and with pedal pressed the effect is pretty much the same. I've just tried it and sounds great, and I am just an amateur pianist!
I have Tyrion hands too. I have done a lot of adaptation to the score to make it playable. I also use my left hand to play some right hand parts.
As a fellow pianist and huge GOT fan, this peice was my favorite of the show and my favorite episode.

I loved it with the overlay of pieces of the show. That way we can see when the crescendo starts and see how they pieced it together in the show. Great timing. You played wonderfully amazing! Very accurate and emotionally done :)

Amazing dude... The change and the variation in the original theme is almost perfectly captured... The original theme used a lot of instruments with the church piano at heart of it... Playing such a masterpiece in one go with only one simple piano is indeed commendable... Hats off to you PianoMania... Hats off to Ramin Djawadi... :)

I personally have tried to practice this and I can tell you it’s hard. The timing and the jumps in the left hand... any number of things in this piece make it hard. Unless you go from grade 1 royal conservatory to grade 8 in like, 6 months, then learning this piece is gonna be tough.
