I think it would have sounded excellent either way, but I am not sure if this guy sees and reads his comment section but I just want him to know he has come up with a masterpiece and if Metallica ever decided to go back and redo this song they need to call this guy. Well... I must be honest. At the beginning of the song i didn't expect much. I mean it sounds "as it should be". Then the violin and the orchestra kicked in. It was like: Oh, o.k, sounds nice and interesting. But.... BUT......I lost my mind at 2:20... God damn... That's the moment you made the track personal or your "own", in a sense. Those 20 seconds "took" me somewhere else... That little passage changed everything and the rest is history ! BRAVO ! BRAVO !
My brother would have loved this! I love it as well!! He loved Metallica and I love to just listening to the gift of instruments, especially the piano. He passed away 3 years ago this month from cancer. I still struggle with it but I guess I will cause it's just how much that I miss him. My brother would have loved this! I love it as well!! He loved Metallica and I love to just listening to the gift of instruments, especially the piano. He passed away 3 years ago this month from cancer. I still struggle with it but I guess I will cause it's just how much that I miss him. Wonderful thing is that he's in no more pain and nothing else matters. 😊Thank you for this beautiful masterpiece!!!🔥💜

Dear William, I've used this for 2 funerals now (my 62 year old husband 4 yrs ago & my 94 year old mother) in 2 weeks time who adored playing the piano but I'd be so grateful for a longer version to fall asleep to. I don't know why but this song reminds me of my cousin's child, 11 year old who fought so hard with cancer and left us on December 24, 2022.... I still remember when we arrived at the church and I saw him in his white coffin, he slept like an angel. Rest in peace my Kyriakos.
