I'm a HUGE Metallica fan. No I'm not here to talk trash. I have to say that it's amazing what Metallica has done for different musicians. People can now use violin, piana, acoustic. Makes me incredibly happy to see the inspiration live on.

Whenever I would listen to LIGHTNING, PUPPETS or JUSTICE, the songs always reminded me of like some HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY CLASSICAL TUNES ON STEROIDS. If there'd be a genre. I loved the arrangement on those albums. As Het would say, "testicles...1,2." "YEYEEAAHHH!!!".
In 1992 I made a whole cassette of this song and played it on repeat whilst attempting to take my own life.someone found me and all these years later I'm still here and feeling strong.this song is still one of my all time favourites and he's played this beautifully.thank you so much.never give up hope.xxx❤️

Man i m old now. I formed a rock band, played this song as a drummer in almost every rehearsal with the band. Won nationwide competitions. It’s been almost 20 years. Still love Metallica, and this right here is just beautiful. Thank you. Amazing cover.

My brother would have loved this! I love it as well!! He loved Metallica and I love to just listening to the gift of instruments, especially the piano. He passed away 3 years ago this month from cancer. I still struggle with it but I guess I will cause it's just how much that I miss him. Wonderful thing is that he's in no more pain and nothing else matters. 😊Thank you for this beautiful masterpiece!!!🔥💜

What's the meaning of this quote? I can't understand it.
To this day this is the best cover I have ever heard or found. I remember Metallica originally wanted to get away from the rock side/sound for this song as well as a few others they had done but in the end decided to do rock and roll anyhow. I think it would have sounded excellent either way, but I am not sure if this guy sees and reads his comment section but I just want him to know he has come up with a masterpiece and if Metallica ever decided to go back and redo this song they need to call this guy. I also say take a bow sir, I am giving you a standing ovation. I hope one day to meet you in person should you decide to tour the USA

Well... I must be honest. At the beginning of the song i didn't expect much. I mean it sounds "as it should be". Then the violin and the orchestra kicked in. It was like: Oh, o.k, sounds nice and interesting.
But.... BUT......I lost my mind at 2:20... God damn... That's the moment you made the track personal or your "own", in a sense. Those 20 seconds "took" me somewhere else... That little passage changed everything and the rest is history ! BRAVO ! BRAVO !

This song and your amazing cover of it both have a very special place in my heart. Last year, I used to stay up late every night thinking about this wonderful girl I had a crush on and was going through a pretty rough time because I was too afraid to ask her out. This song and the cover were the only things that could calm me down and make me feel better and even gave me the courage to bite the bullet and ask her out. Today marks our first year of being together.

Dear William, I've used this for 2 funerals now (my 62 year old husband 4 yrs ago & my 94 year old mother) in 2 weeks time who adored playing the piano but I'd be so grateful for a longer version to fall asleep to. I totally agree with you when it comes to the feelings, the emotions, etc. I felt every bit of it and it struck a cord in me and I just can not put into words what it did.
