If they get the pricing right. That's been their downfall recently, compared to similar offerings from other manufacturers
I think I'll wait and see what the estate version will be like.
Not planned
For this price everyone should look for a Lexus ES300H. Almost the same price, but much more refined and luxurious car.
And no sunroof 😔
at 37k euro, it can be the best hatchback in the world....ffs..it is 37k..for a basic civic. The hell with it.
33K Euro in the UK - and there's nothing basic about it - it's one of the best equipped cars for the money.
@@italianjob4947 Totally agree.
€48.5k in Ireland. While rest of the Europe gets better price.
@@jamiurrahmanchoudhury4369
We in Ireland get the same price as the rest of Europe, it's just that our "bright" government needs more money for the welfare mothers to buy their votes, hence you will have to pay up. It's a total joke
🤦
49.9 mpg is good but not great, I get somewhere in the mid fifties from my hybrid. It's also a pity it is so anodyne looking. Shame, I like Honda's, but at that price not going to be on my radar.
Your hybrid doesn't handle like this nor does it accelerate like this Civic
Don't need to break the record for 0-60 and as I generally drive at the speed limit, I don't need to handle like an F1 car, so basically, I couldn't care less......
Civic Jazz has always been a Saviour for Honda .
Poor show with Honda if they have loaded old tech into the HRV.
The tech is identical, he was wrong. The HRV has a 1.5 engine, that’s the difference.
Give me back my damn manuals!!!!
Shame no estate anymore.
Indeed, not very understandeble, as 1/4 of the previous Civic (the one with the rounded design) sales in EU were estates.
@@haveaseatplease indeed. We had one. Very good estate, boot was huge for such a medium sized car.
New ZR-V will be kind of estate-suv based on civic
@@kjayk Got an Arteon now. Not keen on SUVs.
Honda & Toyota hybrid, nothing else.
Why can't all cars look normal and generic like this.. why are cars looking futuristic? It's so ridiculous and unnecessary.. I miss 2010 cars
Why are all these reviews coming from the U.K. Are there no Americans reviewing all these cars?!
Hang on, my 2007 Civic got me 45mpg. So 15 years and the huge extra cost of hybrid batteries I get an extra 5mpg. But hey, at least it'll stop hurricanes and the UK having warm summers. Everyone is being royally taken for mugs.
You averaged 45mpg in a petrol Civic? You must drive everywhere well below the speed limit!
New accord pls
don't hold your breath.
Accord is not available in Europe market
Seat levers are much better than the crap twist wheels
But wheels provide a much better scope for adjustment than levers, and that's important indeed.
6:23 The Civic from the early 90's can do 50 m.p.g. so that just beats the new one.
not exactly a fair comparison is it.
@@haveaseatplease But the global heatings are the same.
@@haveaseatplease why not? Isn't technology supposed to achieve real benefits.
@@bikeman123 well you compare a car that has to be compliant with the minimal active and passive safety standards of yesteryear with a car that has to be compliant with the current NCAP and IIHS standards. Current high safety standards result in much heavier cars.
A weak point of Honda is always the outdated software technology gps entertainment etc. No big improvement from previous Civic
Software is so much better then the mk 10 but to be honest anything would be
At least, You get Android auto and Apple carplay as standard for all versions. So the infotainment system itself doesn't matter that much
You get, Android auto, apple car play, don't need anything else for infotainment
@@stijnv_BE Unkile my current EV which cuts out Apple Play all the time - totally unreliable system.
