Through all of it, I've come away with the epiphany that a world without suffering, while technically "perfect," also lacks the good that results in response to suffering. Such a "perfect" world is neither good nor bad, but neutral. Gray, without contrast. Dead. The new heaven and earth at the end of Revelation is the exception, because in the end we won't have to suffer anymore, but what will be left is the good that resulted from it. In that way, heaven will be better than perfect. It's no longer the Garden, it's a shining city. In the words of Jesus, "unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life." Anyways, yapping sesh over.
